Yeah, it's official. There's going to be another RoboCop movie. Hey, is that Fred Dekker lurking over there? KILL HIM! Nah, just kidding Fred. Wouldn't kill you (even though you killed RoboCop for awhile with 'RoboCop 3'. C'mon, martial arts and RoboCop? What were you ON, man?!) I reserve my bullets for Julian 'Grunt' Grant. Yeah, Mister RoboCop Prime Directives. The guy who said 'Hey everybody, let's use a pint-sized RoboCop this time', and thus gave us Paige Fletcher and a crappy 4-part mini series with only one part that was worth while, the first one.

So yeah, RoboCop's been beaten to death a little bit. However with the new run of comics by Avatar (such as the original series done by Frank "The Dark Knight" Miller, who also did the writing for RoboCop 2 and 3, however his vision of a corporate plundered Detroit was neutered by Hollywood), and also the success of Iron Man, it seems that MGM is waking up and smelling the baby food, since they've announced a 2010 release for a RoboCop movie. Whether it's a remake or a sequel, has yet to be seen.

However it is known that Darren Aronofsky, Director of Requiem for a Dream and also Pi (who also was going to remake Batman before Christopher Nolan, however his vision was too dark for Warner Brothers to eat. If only he was paired with Frank Miller and there was no MPAA! D=) Writing will be his usual directorial sidekick, David Self.

With the way it looks, RoboCop may be making a comeback. However there's still many questions. CGI or real effects? More importantly, who's going to don the suit? (If I were around for it, I'd sure as Hell do it! I kinda look like Peter Weller..)

In closing, here's another poster and oh yeah, discuss

I have to be reasonable. I liked Robocop 2, that movie was just awesome. Then it's the third one that almost went forwards like the series. But still in movie style.

Now for the new title. It's still long ahead and i vaguer not to think about movies far ahead in time. Next year that's good, but two years. Nah, let's see a bit more information before i can decide.

I'm actually biting my teeth at the notice of this on the accounts of how crappy it could come out.

Oh, so you actually fear that this movie could kill the franchise, like it has happened with many others?

Almost every movie sequel have turned into bad performance really. Except maybe a few, it ain't like i am entertained yet i wouldn't wish to hunt down Robocop on it's release. It's just ain't enough with interest to do that, even if i liked the second movie better then the first oddly enough. More action i suppose.
