This Rp is between me and Nirguris Vikaile, it is a sequel to Curse of the Chaos Ruby, so if you want back story or charecter bios / details, go there, read that if you plan on reading this we are carrying on from the point where our characters leave the Rp Start: Reece and Doomis were searching for more of Doomis kind, they had been walking for days, and the cheering of the people through there saving of the planet had stopped and had returned to the usual scowls, insults and random attacks... "where could they be... they must be out there somewhere *sigh*... well, at least we have each other to stop us from going insane and committing suicide through depression..." Reece said, they were both starving, they had not eaten for almost a week, when they defeat Draken and where made heroes, they had spent the last of there money on a meal to keep them going for a while, but it wasn't enough, "I hope there's a city soon, or I'm gunna look for something dead lying around to eat!" Reece said, "We may even have to become beggars till we can get some food to give us the energy to move on..." Reece sighed... |

"Beggars... You would have better luck then me at being a beggar. I used to live in a rich man's home, and even then people would come after me." Doomis replied as he clutched his stomach in pain. He was used to living without food, but the pain that he could feel was horrendous. He felt his stomach rumble so hard that he thought an earthquake had struck! Once the rumbling had stopped, Doomis looked ahead of him. "There! I think I can see a city up ahead! It's not much, but I think I can see a building or two!" He exclaimed as he continued to drag himself forward. |

"at last!.. but then... why am i so happy? people only insult us and attack us...*sigh*... at this rate, we may have to become thieves, what do you think Doomis? We could do it easy but is it worth it? to have the police chasing us too? |

"We have no money to do away with, we're completely drained. I can remember a few times when I stole things from others, it shouldn't be too hard." He replied as they continued on towards the city. "Still... we would have to outsmart the police there. I don't know how difficult that may be, but it's our only shot!" He continued as the view of the city became clearer. The place looked brand new, where everything shined brilliantly in color, even the city gates had gold rims around them. Doomis sighed and said, "I wonder if this place is occupied by barons, because that can help and hinder us." |

"Hmm... well... lets just carry on inside, we need only steal small things, loafs of bread by warping them through shop windows, i kept my emeralds just in case..." Reece said, then Doomis heard him eating something, "here you go!" Reece passed him half a loaf of bread, down the road, there was a baker salesmen looking slightly puzzled, his mutters could be heard "I was sure i had another loaf, have i dropped one? oh no... never mind..." |

"Heh, nice moves." Doomis said over a chuckle as he ate the bread. They then came to the city gate, and Doomis looked over at the snoring gatekeeper. "We could either wake that guy up, or sneak inside." Doomis whispered to Reece. |

"Well if we sneak in, we're likely to set off an alarm, so lets risk waking him up" Reece said, "hey mr.gatekeeper person, wakey wakey! rise and shine!" Reece poked the gatekeeper in the eye several times before he got up... |

(Guess I'll temporarily be Gatekeeper) The Gatekeeper cursed under his mouth before getting up. "Eh, what? What do you want?! Can't you see I was getting my beauty sleep?" He said while yawning after every sentence. "We want in... and you're going to need a heck of alot of beauty sleep if that's what you're really doing." Doomis replied, it was clear he thought the guy was suspicious. "Well, you'll have to pay up! Passage ain't free you know!" The gatekeeper remarked, following with a bad laugh. Doomis's eyes narrowed, "Y'know, there IS a sign that says tourists get in free. And by the way, 'ain't' is NOT a word." He said in a tone that would make others around him look stupid. |

Reece laughed as Doomis yelled at the gatekeeper, "Lets just go in, this guys nothing but an idiot, and everybody's laughing at him, i thinks that's a good time to leave, don't you? |

"...Fine. I've wasted enough time with this guy." Doomis said to reece as he opened the gate wall by way of a switch next to the gatekeeper. The gatekeeper just stared at Doomis terrified, because he was now afraid of him. "Okay Reece, the gate is open. Let's head in." |

Doomis looked around the city that they were in, it was densely populated. "Hm?! This city looks familiar... could it be?" He said as he studied the place more frantically, his eyes then set on a large mansion-like building. "Hm... let's go there. I have a feeling that may be the old man's house." He told to Reece as he began to move in the direction of the mansion. |

Doomis looked over at Reece, "Remember what I said before? About how I knew a man named Uramal? That hous up ahead looks familiar to the one I remember... because I used to live there. If it is indeed his house... then it will help us get to my brothers, and we can steal food from there too!" He explained as they approached the massive mansion in the center of the city. |

"I see... well then, if food is involved, then I'm willing to risk anything, i mean, if we could banish Draken to the realm of non-existence, i don't think that there will be anything we can't handle in there!" Reece said, hearing that they could get free food raised his spirits high, he started walking much faster towards the house |
