Woot! New R&C. I became a fan when I first played it on a demo for PS2. Can't wait for the new one. ![]() July 15, 2008 - With the success of Ratchet & Clank Future, it was a no-brainer that Insomniac's favorite Lombax/robot team would be back on the PlayStation 3 sooner rather than later. Still, not many would have predicted that the team would return in a shorter, downloadable adventure. Yes, come this summer, Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest For Booty will storm the PlayStation Network as a title packing three to four hours of gameplay and boasting a price tag of $14.99. The title picks up where the original left off -- Clank's been captured by the Zoni and Ratchet's been booted off a pirate airship -- and acts as an extension of the series that's inevitably building toward R&C Future 2 or whatever it's called. http://ps3.ign.com/articles/890/890300p1.html |

Awesome! I love Ratchet and Clank, thats the only reason I would ever by a PS3 is for the two Ratchet and Clanks. They are some of the best platformers ever. |

Ratchet and Clank is indeed one of the best things to ever happen to Sony, I love the games even though I despise the system. Some real work went into the making of those games and to hear of a new one that's only $14.99, that's a blockbuster announcement right there. PS3 fans globally, will be very happy. Now I just need to hope Microsoft/Rare crushes it with the new Banjo Kazooie. ^^ |

I would love to get this, but two things prevent me from buying it, one, I haven't played the game before it, and two, I don't have a PS3. |

I'm a gamer and always will be a gamer. If you don't believe me. I have 430 Video Games and 19 Consoles. I doubt you could beat that unless you are a gamer as well! =P So, let's see if you can outdo "The Jet Gamer"

I HAD the first Ratchet and Clank for PS2 a looong time ago. Beat a few levels/parts/things and lost interest. Same with Jak and Daxter (which seemed better, imo). I may just have to start playing both of these again. <_<

Its a bridge between TOD and the sequel to that. After R2 theyll be making the next full game. And Banjo has nothing on Ratchet. Its a completely different style of game. Ratchet is more action oriented. |

Yeah, Ratchet and Clank is more about the action and guns. Banjo is about the platforming and collecting elements. |

Superman 64 > Rachet & Clank The new Zelda will crush it into the dust. I **Bleep**ing hate Rachet & Clank, Insomniac quit making good games after Spyro. [/Thread] |

You must not have played it then? I have Spyro on my PSP and R&C Size Matters, and Size Matters owns Spyro. Spyro feels so primitive and outdated compared to Ratchet and Clank. I can understand not liking the style of game play, but you must give credit where credit is due... Not just to Ratchet and Clank but to Insomniac's other games. Insomniac has done a great job with Resistance, which, unlike you probably think, is not their first FPS game.

I actually have played R&C, I wouldn't judge a game without playing it ya know? And I don't care much for Resistance either. |

Well not everyone is going to like everything, but you can't say they are bad games. Play Spyro again and you'll see it's all nostalgia talking. |
