I had the general gist of what it meant, but I had no idea it was this awful. http://mag.awn.com/index.php?ltype=Columns&article_no=3605&page=1 tl;dr: If you don't register your images, you lose them. Companies get to use them without paying you royalties and you can be charged for using your own images, no matter what. You know what that means? Artists are pretty much out of a job. Big companies will be able to steal your images and you won't get a penny from it, not to mention it makes theft legal.

The Government has gone mad, and I hope to god that this legislation does not pass, for if it does.. it's essentially doom for every artist in the US and UK.
