You mean that?

I'm not sure what size, but for only $100? That's a pretty nice deal. Go for it.

I got an older Wacom and it works great. And that Wacom bamboo looks smooth. B) And cheap. I'd get it if I didn't already have a perfectly functional tablet.

Almost sounding like an adbot there Brennen. Why don't you add a couple "cyalis" and "viagras" to that post? xD

Wow.. this topic makes a wacom advert show up in the ad space. xDD

Anyhoo, I'd definitely recommend a bamboo for non-professional work. Heck.. I'd recommend a graphire series, as well ( I think they sell for around the same).

Once you install the driver, a tablet is compatible with your PC. It's just a mouse with extra signals, technically, and the driver translates those for your PC anyway^^;;. The only problems I've ever had was with full screen games. When I used the stylus (pen), the cursor would jump around sporadically.

Anyhoo, Bamboo is technically the Graphire's little sister. It's great for hobby artists and for fooling around, especially since it's so low in price. The next step is the Graphire, for more serious artists/web designers who would be generally inconvenienced by a mouse, and the Intuos series is even more advanced (and pricey). The next step is the OSHI of wacom, the Cintiq, which comes with a screen directly on the tablet and is for professional work.

So, yah. Bamboo or Graphire is for you. I had a Graphire and now have an Intuos, and both worked and work great for me.

Peace Love and Darkness!

Sorry for my ridiculously long posts all the time! 8P

What is the difference between a duck?

Hmm I'm now interested in getting one of these tablets myself, all though I was eyeing a few nice ones at Fry's as well.
