The Master of Darkness Posts: 2,954 Group: =SB= Governors Member #6,063 Joined: February 19, 2008 Gender: Male Favorite System: Genesis/Mega Drive I'm Browsing With: FireFox 3 Favorite Sonic Game: Sonic CD Current Mood: IM VERY BORED	And after the mayhem and the chaos that was the last tournament, the dust had settled on the familiar arena - circular in shape, roughly 100ft in diameter, with all the scarring from the previous set of battles left lying around, to serve as a harsh reminder that these tournaments were not child's play. Things weren't made any easier by the grand final from that tournament, Dakoter and Rachel absolutely tearing the place up to find a winner; the eventual victory went to none other than Rachel, the dark horse of the entire historical event that was the very first official tournament. Set slightly to the south and off to one side of the arena - inbetween the two sets of double doors the combatants would enter through - could be seen the structure that had magically appeared during the Battle Royale, a grand building that blended beautifully into the rest of the coliseum. The main point of focus here was the overhanging balcony, which would be the point where the three judges overlook proceedings. This balcony would also be the place where the partners of each team would wait before being tagged into battle, and would return to once their stint was over. The three overlooked the arena with a mutual interest. To the left of this group sat a large blue dragon, scales glistening in the warmth of the overhead sun and an evil glint in the eye as he waited to survey the forthcoming fights. To the right was a human, with short brown hair and wearing an eyepatch. He brushed a little bit of fluff off of his tuxedo, casting his eye down towards the car park to ensure his Aston Martin wasn't being stolen. In fact, apart from the eyepatch, this gentleman was very smart and rumoured to be one of the two grand architects for the entire tournament. Finally, the one in the middle moved forwards. It was the same mysterious being from the Battle Royale, resplendid in his hooded trenchcoat. He had an average build, but apart from that nothing could be told about this man. And all three had the power to wreak havok below. The hooded man clapped his hands together; at this point all the clouds in the sky disappeared and the wind became non-existent. "I summon now, on behalf of the grand architects, Melissails and JasonLovesKelsey, and the anti-Hogs! Fight with honour, and may the best pairing win!" He placed his hands on the balcony overhanging, the crowd roaring with approval now the fights were finally underway. Quote: You should know the drill by now. He remembered how his friend, Icy, had been defeated by Jason last tournement. He was more eager to win now, to have fame and fortune shining upon him. He walked to the middle, sat down, and waited for whoever his oppenents may be, but also keep one eye to look out for his partner.

Streak was running around hecticly, in the knowledge that he was late for his match, what was worse, he hadn't found Fireyo yet! He ran to the arena entrance and saw his partner already prepped to fight. With a smile on his face, he burst through the double doors, creating a large amount of light that shined across the whole arena and beyond! When the light faded, Streak wandered up to his parter, extended his arm down to him and said: "Hey there partner! Ready to win this thing!" Edited by Deadaim, Jul 5 2008, 12:08 AM.

In his mind, he was wondering about what he should do against his oppenent. He was franticly thinking of stratagies in the already confused mind. Streak said with a smile. He then joined Fireyo in his sitting position on the ground. He then began to build up the energy that he lost in his entrance. At the same time, he thought hard about the fight to come. He then layed down, and drowned out the sounds of the chattering crowd to deal with his nerves. After a minute or two he looked up to the grand balcony that stretched along one side of the colloseum. He recocised the people up there from the last tournament, Which he started watching many rounds in, so he didn't know who they wre exactly. Streak turned to the crowd now and his eyes fell upon a couple of his friends who turned up to watch. After a confident thumbs-up to them, he went to fireyo and said: "You fine with going first?"

'This is not good...' He thought upon noticing his opponents. 'My partner hasn't showed up yet.', Jack gripped the handle of his blade nervously. 'Well... Might as well start the friendly banter.' Jack thought with a grimace. "So, if I'm correct, you two must be the opposing team." Sparrow directed this toward Team Anti-Hogs.

"Yeah, were team Anti-Hogs." replied Fireyo. He didn't know what to say, due to the fact he wanted to get the first blow, yet had to wait until all enrtrants arrive. "So, you fight much?" Asked Fireyo, making small talk until he could strike.

Fireyo let the fireball hit him. It did burn a little bit, but he easily rubbed the pain off. "I've dealt with much more than a burn before." He realized Sparrows partner still hadn't showed up. " Strange...." He thought. But after his small thought, he ran towards sparrow aiming to kick him as far as he could across the battlefield.

Streak exclaimed as he was suddenly warped up to the balcony. He checked his surroundings and examined the others on the balcony further. He then looked back towards the battlefield. "What will happen if Jack's partner does a no-show?" Streak thought to himself. "Will I have to sit out the whole fight?!?!" He continued to think about this. "Ahh, never mind. Jack's opponent mocked. 'Hmm... I was right... Maybe I should of thought twice about this.' Sparrow thought. He then saw Fireyo aim a flying kick at him, 'Oh crap... Wait! I have an idea! If FIRE doesn't hurt him...'. And with that the Pirate Hedgehog drastically lowered the tempature around his, causing an icicle to materialize. Sparrow then grasped it, aimed, and threw it at his opponent like a spear. "Take this!" Jack yelled. 'He should be moving to fast to properly avoid this...'.

Time to do this!" Yelled Streak as he lept down to the Arena, completely forgetting about the teleporters. He landed with a thud. He wondered why Fireyo pulled out so quickly, not going for a team attack. But as Streak noticed the blood on the floor to his right, it became quite obvious. He then turned to his opponent. "You still fine with goin' solo?" He said, as he took a defensive stance, awaiting Jack's next move. Since Jack didn't seem the type that gives up, Streak presumed to just prepare himself.

Streak said as he shifted his weight to his left leg, preparing to strike while his opponent is over-confident, but a sharp pain ran up his leg as he did so. "DANG!?!? I knew I should've used that teleporter!" Streak thought angrily to himself, as he remembered his leap from the balcony. He normally would have done it without a scratch, but the pressure must have got to him. Ok, decision time! Streak had to think of what to do next. Defend, or attack. Or... "Aaaarrrghhhhh!" Came a yell from Streak. He then fell to one knee, clutching his ankle in agony. He made a quick glance at Jack, just to check what his reaction was.
