The Master of Darkness

And after the mayhem and the chaos that was the last tournament, the dust had settled on the familiar arena - circular in shape, roughly 100ft in diameter, with all the scarring from the previous set of battles left lying around, to serve as a harsh reminder that these tournaments were not child's play. Things weren't made any easier by the grand final from that tournament, Dakoter and Rachel absolutely tearing the place up to find a winner; the eventual victory went to none other than Rachel, the dark horse of the entire historical event that was the very first official tournament. Set slightly to the south and off to one side of the arena - inbetween the two sets of double doors the combatants would enter through - could be seen the structure that had magically appeared during the Battle Royale, a grand building that blended beautifully into the rest of the coliseum. The main point of focus here was the overhanging balcony, which would be the point where the three judges overlook proceedings. This balcony would also be the place where the partners of each team would wait before being tagged into battle, and would return to once their stint was over. The three overlooked the arena with a mutual interest. To the left of this group sat a large blue dragon, scales glistening in the warmth of the overhead sun and an evil glint in the eye as he waited to survey the forthcoming fights. To the right was a human, with short brown hair and wearing an eyepatch. He brushed a little bit of fluff off of his tuxedo, casting his eye down towards the car park to ensure his Aston Martin wasn't being stolen. In fact, apart from the eyepatch, this gentleman was very smart and rumoured to be one of the two grand architects for the entire tournament. Finally, the one in the middle moved forwards. It was the same mysterious being from the Battle Royale, resplendid in his hooded trenchcoat. He had an average build, but apart from that nothing could be told about this man. And all three had the power to wreak havok below. The hooded man clapped his hands together; at this point all the clouds in the sky disappeared and the wind became non-existent. "I summon now, on behalf of the grand architects, Sonitrexy and Zamau, and Team Light Guardians! Fight with honour, and may the best pairing win!" He placed his hands on the balcony overhanging, the crowd roaring with approval now the fights were finally underway.

((Alright, Sebastian's gonna be first up Xp)) Sebastian ran from the cafe to the stadium, stopping when he reached the stadium. He looked up into the stands, seeing his friends up there, he smiled. He walked out into the middle, light blue quills swayed in the wind, his red bandanna whipping around his head. His buster sword strapped to his back, and his robotic arm seemed to shine. His violet eyes open, he looked up at the stands again. He lead the crowd on, getting them to cheer. Then, Sebastian's grin turned into a look of determination, and seriousness. "So... Zamau, and Sonitrexy? It'll be interesting to fight one of my friends this time." He smiled, hoping Sonitrexy was the opening opponent. Flame sat in his seat, watching the crowd go wild. Zack laughed and shook his head. "Same old Sebastian, eh?" He said, laughing. Flame just put his face in his palm. They had drawn straws to see which one would compete in this tournament. Just like last time, Sebastian had won. Ashlee and Shania watched silently. Shock looked down at Sebastian, focusing on his friend. "Let's just hope he gets past the second round this time. Him and Maelic should make a good team." Shock said in a solemn tone. |

(I will come in now with my character Leon) Leon walked up tp the stadium, it was his first tournament match against the team Light Guardians. The panther looked through the entrance and saw one of his opponents standing ahead of him on the grounds, he ran and jumped and fliped on to the ground landing infront of one of his opponents with his left knee on the ground and his right foot on the ground infront of his left leg and his head was down. The crowd looked towards the new fighter, the crowd cheered but was it at him or that it was fight was coming soon. The panther raised his head and stood up facing his opponent with his green eyes. The panther grabbed his sword and stuck in the ground, he leaned agaist it with the light shining of the blade, "So you are one of my opponents who I will be fighting, well when the match starts good luck" he said to the fighter. ((I suppose, if you're still waiting on me, I need to post my introduction by going on the balcony?)) Maelic stepped out, from behind the judges, onto the balcony. He walked right past the judges with a small nod and wave, and stood at the edge of the balcony. He looked down to Sebastian and smiled, giving a thumbs up. "There's no way we can lose..." Maelic scanned the crowd to see if he could manage to spot any of his friends. And sure enough, he spotted Soar hopping up and down, screaming out, "GO MAELIC!! GO!!" Beside him, Alina was laughing her head off at Soar's sheer childishness. She gave a simple wave at Maelic and blew a kiss. Maelic smiled, and waved back. Now, it was time to wait until he was tagged in. |

(Right i'll be on the balcony!) Shadver walked slowly up to the stadium looking at the enviroment seeing if he could use an Advantage here as he contiued walking he saw Sebastian and maelic on top of a balcony.He was kind of shocked that he would have to fight 2 of his friends luckly the black hedgehog kept his cool and started to smile a bit.He then saw his partner Leon as he walked in a more faster pace to him "So then i see your my partner and if am correct you must be Leon? looks like we're fighting Maelic and Sebastian,Good luck to you and lets do this!"The black hedgehog talked to Leon as he walked away from him and started to jump to the balcony.The black hedgehog then landed at the balcony he did a pretty good landing.Shadver tried to see if he can spot any of his friends,He suddenly saw Sonitrex and Rachi cheering him on as they said.. "SHADVER YOU CAN DO IT!!" giving him a good amount of support changing Shadver's mood a bit Edited by Sanitrex, Jul 7 2008, 12:31 PM.

Sebastian grinned, staring down Leon. "So, ready to get this started? No holding back or anything." He laughed as he dashed forward, creating the opening move. The battle was underway! Sebastian shot a geyser of water under him, flying into the air. "Woo!" He laughed. To much seriousness makes fighting no fun, so Sebastian kept a carefree attitude. He landed behind his opponent, ready to harness his speed and get around Leon if he saw this coming. He put his palm out, glowing violet. He was going to start by grabbing his opponent. That is, if he didn't dodge this... It would be a little hard, but he was sure someone could pull it off. |

Maelic watched from the balcony above the stadium, looking down at his comrade who was about to begin a fierce battle against the one called Leon. Maelic observed both of their simplest moves and actions, devising a battle strategy against Leon, while taking into consideration many other factors besides skill alone. Yet, Maelic would probably spend most of his time battling Sonitrexy - Which wasn't good for him, as he knew little about Sonitrexy's fighting style, as he had yet to see him in a battle. Although true, Maelic had prepared himself for anything before this battle. Turning his attention away from these thoughts, Maelic now focused on supporting his friend on the battlefield. "Go, Seb!!" he called, while throwing his fist into the air. Maelic leaned over the railing, and looked down, getting a good look at the stadium he would be fighting on. It seemed suitable for his tactics. Maelic turned his head up and focused on Sebastian, who was currently beginning to battle... Edited by FourShade, Jul 6 2008, 10:00 PM.

As Shadver standing on his position on the balacony Looking at Leon"Hope Leon does a good job at Starting this match...."The black hedgehog thought.He then started to think of a way to beat Maelic,Shadver had seen him in battle before but he Dosen't remember that much of his fighting style.The black hedgehog kept his cool and looked at the arena where Sebastian and Leon were fighting seeing if there was any tecniques he could use when he has to fight Seb or Maelic there but He thinks theres a more chance of him Fighting Maelic |

As the battle started, Leon stopped leaning against his sword and got it out of the ground and put it away, but as he was doing that his opponent made the first move, he flew in the air and landed behind him. The panther looked to the side and saw behind him out of the corner of his eye his opponent's hand was glowing, the panther back flipped over him and kept on flipping away from the opponent. The panther got one of his daggers ready and began to run towards his opponent, he threw it over his opponent head so he might get distracted by the dagger, as the the dagger went over his head the panther jumped and swung his right leg round doing a jumping roundhouse kick towards his opponent, but would the distraction work and will the kick hit his opponent.

Sebastian just laughed at his opponents feeble attempt to distract him. His psychokinesis easily caught the daggers. Sebastian now saw his opponent's kick and shot both daggers at him, aiming for his foot to injure him. If I make this shot, then I've just seriously got the upper hand; and with the force that he's using to attack me... this'll be difficult to dodge. Sebastian smiled, this first match was going along swimmingly. Zack stood up in the stands. "Common Sebastian! You can do it! Beat this guy!" He yelled. Ashlee did the same. Flame just watched, silent; observing. He was cheering for Sebastian, but he wouldn't say it outloud. Common man, you can do this.. |

As he was in the air about to kick, but the distraction failed as his opponent caught the dagger and threw it back aiming for the the panther's foot. Leon moved his leg down and the dagger missed his foot but scratched his upper right arm, he fell to the ground on his knees, his arm was cut but it didn't bleed much. He picked up the dagger which had some blood on the blade, he put the dagger away and ran forwards towards his opponent, he attacked again with a butterfly kick towards his opponents stomach. Sebastian caught the kick in his robotic arm, part of it hit his chest, and he went sliding back. He now held his opponent's leg, a perfect opportunity to throw him. With the strength used to wield a huge buster sword, Sebastian spun his opponent around, and threw him into the stands. "Ohshit. I guess I threw him too hard." He laughed. He disappeared, with his high speed, appearing in front of his opponent. He sent forward a barrage of punches. There was an open spot, but he hoped Leon wouldn't pick up on it. |

As the panther was thrown to the stands, as he was about to get back up his opponent came up infront of him and began to attack him with punches, Leon counterd with a kick to the stomach what made him move away from his opponent. The was dizzy from the punches, he fell from the stands and hit the ground, his eyes began to glow yellow and he got back up, he drawed his sword and stood waiting for his opponent to attack. |

Sebastian looked up at Maelic, grinning. I suppose it's Maelic's turn... Heheh "Yo Maelic! Get out here and fight!" He shot a blast of water at his opponent before looking up at Maelic again. He teleported suddenly, vanishing. Things were heating up, and he did not want to be caught in whatever attack his opponent was planning next. Besides, it would be a great chance to prepare a team attack. Hopefully Maelic would use it; Sebastian had forgotten. The crowd in the stands where Leon had landed all backed away, scared of being hit. Zack looked over at where it happened. "So, nothing to protect the crowd? Hah, that's kinda odd." He laughed. Flame shook his head again, continuing to watch. So he switched out, eh? |

Leon saw that his opponent was going to let his team partner fight, but before he left his opponent shot water at him, the water hit him pushing back and he fell on his right arm and made the cut a bit bigger and it started to bleed. Leon might have stop fighting for awhile, he looked towards Shadver and raised his left hand and shout "Do you want to fight!" Leon stood up and headed up to the balcony. Shadver heared Leon's voice"Sure thing! Anything for a partner!!"Shadver shouted out loud as he Jumped up from his position on the balaony and was falling.He touched Leon's hand meaning that he was now tagged so Shadver had to fight now.As he kept on falling he evatually landed on the floor.Shadver did a pretty good landing on the floor where Sebastian and Zamau fighted.The Black hedgehog then was starting to get out his first weapon of choice his "Dark keyblade".Shadver took out his weapon from his right pocket slowly and weilded it in the air.He then moved his left hand to make a pretty cool Fighting pose "So which of you Hedgehogs wants to fight me?!"Shadver shouted as he waited for which either hedgehog,The black striped hedgehog had to fight now but he thought it would be Maelic since theres a more chance of him having to fight Maelic and Sebastian had already been fighting here with Zamau at the start. Maelic threw on his Electro Gloves and Shock Boots, ready to battle, at Sebastian's call. As Sebastian finished his final attack, and teleported to the balcony, Maelic gave him a speedy high-five to confirm his tagging in, then teleported to the ground where Sebastian had been. Maelic stood cockily, and smiled cooly at Shadver. "It looks like you'll be up against me, thanks to Seb... I'll don't doubt you're pretty tough, Shadver. Be prepared, I won't go easy on you!!" Maelic threw his backpack open, and flipped a strap over his chest. He darted forward as fast as he possibly could, as metal engulfed him from the central point of the strap, forming into his V1.0 Maelic Battle Armor. As Maelic, neared he pulled his fist back, as the hand piece of the battle armor came into creation. A metal fist charged with electricity now blasted towards Shadver. "Raaagh!!!" |

As Shadver saw the metal fist coming towards him he had to do something in mind before it hitted him.The black striped hedgehog had an idea so he started to do a jumping maunver as he was looking like if he was flying in the air.His Dark keyblade was pointing downwards by the wind slightly pushing his blade in a down direction.Shadver then looked at Maelic with a evil smiling grin on his face and thought."Impressive time to do my first technique........."The Black hedgehog thinked in his head "Maelic i won't go easy on you too you know? So then........... TAKE THIS!!"Shadver shouted out loudly as he holded his Dark keyblade with his right hand near his neck as if it looked like if it was pointing at Maelic.The black stiped hedgehog then started to do a fast throw at Maelic by throwing his Dark keyblade at him.As the keyblade was heading towards Maelic it was swinging left,right,left,right,left,right.The speed of the swing started to increase as it contiued heading towards Maelic Edited by Sanitrex, Jul 9 2008, 04:05 PM.

"Common Maelic! You can do it!" Sebastian called out as he pumped his fist into the air. He was hoping Maelic would give it his all. This battle armour... It was a new technique. "Wow, haven't seen THAT before." He kept his sword slung over his shoulder. The light blue hedgehog now looked toward the crowd. He saw Alina, and he saw Soar. Both cheering on Maelic. His gaze turned from them, to his own friends. Flame stared down at the battle, an almost angry look in his eyes. Something wasn't right with the red hedgehog. Zack continued to cheer, jumping up and down in excitement. Ashlee cheered, now that Maelic was fighting, they were going to support their spiky grey friend as well. "Go Maelic! Show'em what you can do!" Zack called out. Sebastian beamed; Team Light Guardians was doing great! He wished he could help out though, he hadn't fought side by side with Maelic in a long time. Sebastian began to plan out a strategy, and what would happen with a team attack. "My water... it could be a large asset to his lightning." Sebastian grinned widely; eager to use the attack he was planning. |

Leon looked on at the battle, the bleeding on his arm stooped. The crowed cheered and he did along with them shouting and cheering Shadver, The panther was planing his his straturgy for when he goes to the ground to fight again. |
