Are the only ones who defend drugs the ones who use them? The only ones who claim they aren't harmful are the ones who use them? I mean seriously, what **Bleep**ing university did they go to, to find out this information? They only defend it because A. they don't know what they're talking about and/or B. they are repeating something they heard from someone who didn't know what he/she was talking about. I have NO respect for someone who needs to use a substance(in this case drugs) to have a "good time" or "feel good". Doing drugs just makes you enjoy life less while you're not using them. /rant |

It's been scientifically proven that illegal drugs lower your average life expectancy. And some 'known' legal drugs. Like alcohol and tobacco. What irks me is that those two have lobbyists in Congress that won't open their eyes and realize. "OH! My product is killing lungs and livers. I better get it off the frickin' market." |

That is a very good point. Smoking and alcohol is dangerous and should be taken away to make out lifeline longer. Though do anyone think that way. No, except the very few one's. And to be true, when you have getting the taste for smoke and alcohol it is the same ending like drugs. You might increase your use or realise that it's bad, and end's before it's to late. Drugs should have never been created. And why do we need smoke factory since that will never end people's use of smoke even if they puts constant with notes about, this will cause you lungs to collaps one day. And so on. No one cares as they like the taste.  So i have learned one thing, never get under friendly pressure since they belive it's cool to drink them self into a short life. I mean sure in my age i dont mind. Though you should never get forced by any of your friends to take any. |

Peopel say its so hard to say no because of how you'll look if you say no, well, who the heck cares what they think. I would rather live a clean life than die early from crap like that. I've never done drugs or smoked. I have have had a sip of beer but my dad only made me try it to show how bad it was and yes it was horrible, so wont be touching that stuff any time soon or ever if I can. Just bring me some water and leave me alone.

lol whut? ok, I'll agree that the majority of drugs are bad, but certain things, like alcohol, is in my opinion ok as long as it isn't abused. I've known people who drink a glass of red wine or whatever a day and have lived to a ripe old age. being properly informed, and non-abusive habits will in my opinion defuse a lot of negative opinion. and you can't say that marajuana can't be used medically, ike wih glaucoma and stuff. |

What about caffeine? That's not harmful, although it is addicting. Alcohol is fine if it's not abused, which in most cases it is... and when that happens it's not fine or healthy, but people say "oh it's not harmful, I've been drinking tons for years and I'm perfectly fine" to justify it. They also are lying to themselves when they say that. @ Duckroll. You were at Santa Cruz? I love it there! Although the people there saying it's good for you ARE drug users.

Drugs are bad... although a kid came up to me today and tried to hug me saying "hugs not drugs!" I just looked at him and said, "I'd rather take the drugs..." That's not my real oppinion though, drugs are a NASTY addiction, they're yucky... |

Like medicinal marijuana? olololol... Okay, story time. Once upon a time, I had a friend. This friend preached about how bad drugs are, why they screw you up, and even stopped being friends with my OTHER friends because they smoked. And then, this friend graduated... And now that he's in college, he does 'shrooms and drinks like an alcoholic. :U I just thought I'd like to throw that out there, that once you hit college, it doesn't make it okay to throw off the straightxedge facade and start the drug bullcrap. |

Actually, I don't take drugs and I say legalize them. Personally, I don't give two craps about anyone who takes drugs. It's THEIR choice to do so. If they want to destroy their life by taking drugs, fine. All we need to do is just put laws on drugs like we do with alcohol and other drugs. I know that smoking pot or doing anything is dangerous whilst driving. So, in that sense just put laws like we do on drugs. Smoke pot while driving or however long, boom, your arrested. I also understand that when it's legalized that all the crime will not be vanquished. However, if you just legalize this crap, that would prevent people from freaking killing each other over it! Flame me if you want, I don't care. Thats how I feel and I'm sticking by it. |

No, you're right. It makes sense. My lit teacher last year said the same thing, and I agreed back then and I still do. But it's a choice, like drinking is a choice. |
