For those who don't know what it is, think the shoutbox, or a conversation on an instant messenger, but better, as misbehaving people can be removed from the channel & it can be moderated easily!

Be sure to grab an IRC client such as XChat or mIRC (Google them) , or you could use Chatzilla, a firefox addon.
If you can't do that don't worry, you can use javachat, here.

Make sure you register your nicknames, click here to find out how to do it, it's important for staff to register their nicknames as they will be given powers.

RULES:
There are no rules basically, but if you act like an idiot you'll be kicked out of the channel. Kick means you get booted out of the channel but you can rejoin. If you do that again you get banned.

Christmas is back again

Well it is good since it might gather more people at one spot. Though i prefer using the messangers right now. Just kinda have enough with those. Though good add.

What is the difference between a duck?

 For anyone not used to using a Java client heres a simple way to get into this IRC.

1) get the java code that is in text form http://www.accessirc.net/pjirc/jchat.php?c...l=%23sonicblast

Or just copy/paste this:

2) Open Notepad

3) Copy that text into notepad and save it as filename SonicBlast.htm (It can be anything but MUST end with the .htm extension)

4) Save the file where you want it and click on it to open it. it will act like a Executable file that uses your primary internet browser to run but WILL get you into the IRC rather easily.

5) CHAT

Edit: Oh snap i just read this thread... >.< I was kicked the first time for no reason as far as i know, and was banned because i can't help being an IM spammer. People are so SLLLOOOWWWW at responding that it's like... an evil habit O.O maybe that's why i was kicked the first time... *speculates*

Seriously what's an I? I put a nose on the :-P because (unlike the Sonic Smiley leads you to believe) that smiley means joking or kidding around, also symbolizing playfulness.

A common practice of mine in IM when no one is chatting back is to put in a space or a simple word like SPAM to clear out the chat window. Unless there's a command like /clear or something I just do that to vent boredom.
