'07, a lady known as "surfgirl" spoke of a Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and people were actually looking forward to it. This could be related. I say it should be for 360, PS3, and Wii. I think this could be the Sonic Game we've been waiting for. Hopefully, it won't be disappointing like Sonic the Hedgehog (Next-Gen).

I dunno, they haven't really tried anything new. All they did was rehash/twist around the adventure style gameplay up to Sonic 06. The only new thing that happened was with Sonic and the Secret Rings and that actually worked. Going back to the orginal format does not gurantee good games either, it just makes it more likely for older fans to buy the game because of nostolgia and stuff. And nostolgia blinds.
