All she know was that whoever shows out on the opposite side. She would not give him or her a slight chance feeling confident about her chance of victory. Though greed had overcome her before. So she stayed sharp and wouldn't play around. She had to foucs and be sure she wont do any mistakes.

Her face suddenly froze in bemusement and surprise when she saw her opponent. "A DRAGON?!" she muttered over her shoulder to the escort behind the gate, "You've got to be kidding me." "Eh, don't ask me, miss, I just walks ya here." He replied as he shut the gate. The iron bars clanked loudly against the ground, lending the arena a sense of claustrophobia. Rachel gave a small laugh before turning back, adjusting her gloves and smoothing down her dress; she wanted to at least look half presentable before the fight began. "Fun, fun, fun..." she sighed, readjusting her smile.

She started to show her teeth with a small grin not sure what to expect from her rival. She stamped with her feet onto the ground making a vibration. She stayed at her own ground desided to anticipate on the females first move. She growled some to make the excitment towards the crowd. She was in constant movement on her same spot moving up and down with her front legs, while her tail swayed from side to side. Wings sweeping out from time to time.

Deciding to humour her opponent, Rachel quickly dashed forwards and somersaulted over the dragon's head, her training giving her the extra height she needed to pull off the leap without crashing. She landed low to the ground and swept her foot towards her foe's ankles.

Though when the female warrior suddenly dashed forwards without giving her a chance to breathe some fire. The female made a summerassault above her head. And were about to try and hit her ankle. She quickly tryed to make her disadvantage into her own advantage. It wouldn't be any other choise then to push her self towards the air just as the female warrior were about to make her first connection. She stretched out her wings and sent her away from the ground only barely escaping a fatal move towards her ankle that could have easily made her with a soar foot through the battle could have changed the fate for her battle. It was atleast someone who would give her a challenge not seen by to many warriors on two feet. Because of her sudden push towards the air, she hoped eather her wings would make sand fly all around the female's face making her cover her eyes not to get blinded. Atleast what the dragon hoped for.

Coughing, she flipped back up onto her feet and looked up at her airborne foe. "Wings, huh? Could've seen that coming..." she said. She pulled her arm back and whipped it forwards again, letting the previously hidden grappling line soar rapidly through the air towards her foe. With a tight grip on the other end, she swung it around, trying to snare the dragon with the deadly hooks.

Where did she pulled out those she thought before one of them caught a hold onto one of her hind legs. Sending out a painful roar as it pierced through her skin. Blood dripping from the small wound while the claw stayed like pest unable to shake it off. With little other choise she would have to try and fly towards the highest point of the arena. Hopefully taking Rachel with her. Then she would have a small advantage to try and fly around the arena smashing her foe towards the walls, though she had to be careful with the roof planks able to stop anything because of it's enforced materials. She dived straight upwards towards the roof. With a small hope the claws wouldn't reach to long so she could manage to have Rachel under her own controle if she would thrust her own guts to try and climb towards her. Eather way, she had to make some move to get rid of her. And as she know had caught the dragon, it would only be one possibility left. Take her high and deliver a entertainment ride she would never forget as it would not result in safety as there were now lines or rules on how the dragon could change Rachel's advantage into her own. Though above, there could also mean a troublesome air ride with the roof so close could easy make her self in trouble. Though it would be worth a try.

Namely, Malena yanked the fox right off the ground. "Oh... assbarns!" Rachel swore as she was thrown through the air. The dragon was soaring straight for the ceiling! Her timing would have to be flawless; she'd have to swing herself upwards just before impact or risk being brained on the roof. Of course, her legs would be the victims, but hopefully she would absorb the shock. An image of herself sliding on the ceiling like an upside-down water-skiier suddenly popped into her mind, causing her to laugh. An instant later, she was actually considering pulling it off. Many people would refer to this as thoughts fitting that of an asylum worthy nutcase. Go figure.

Christmas is back again Posts: 17,411 Group: Former Monarchs Member #348 Joined: December 9, 2006 Gender: Male Steam ID: Warzak85DF	Malena closed fast towards the roof, when noticed her rival send out a small laughter and soon she seemed to pull her self up. She noticed that it wouldn't be time enough to slam the female onto the roof after sending her upwards when she pulled her self up from the rope she had used earlier. The dragon had to figure out another way and desided to use her fire breathe to try and make the rope go up in smoke making it loose it's grip, and hopefully making Rachel fall towards the ground with great impact. No hesitation the dragon changed tactis and turned her head almost the opposite way she were facing and send forth her fire breathe. The fire connected with the rope. It could easily make her wounded by her own fire. Though with a small resistance towards her own element she sent forth her warm breathe just in time before the female rival would have come to close her within range. The effect could easily make it loose it's strenght, or the fire would release a chain reaction making the fire fly straight downwards making Rachel's way up with more trouble then what she might had hoped for.

Unfortunately, the same steel that was saving her sorry behind also happened to function as a rather good heat conductor. Rahel yelped in pain as the line glowed white-hot and began burning through her gloves. Thinking quickly, she took the only option that came to her. She swung off. The fox hit the wall with an "Ooof!". She let her fingertips find the tiny gaps between the bricks, slowing her rapid slide towards the ground slightly as she hugged the wall as closely as she could without spontaneously acquiring Mr-Fantastic-esque powers. Out of the corner of her eye, she could see her opponent, still with the hook embedded in her leg. "Well, Rache," she thought to herself resignedly, "Looks like you're stuck between a mythical fire-breathing lizard and a hard place..."

If you win, i wish you the best of luck through the tourney. )) She found a small opperunity when she noticed Rachel jumpin towards the wall. As the warrior quickly slided down towards the ground after leaping away from her own grapple claw. She desided to take a move that could go anyway. She quickly turned around now facing towards the sliding down warrior. She started to breathe in to unleash another flaming attack and noticed Rachel on the ground. Now face to face with the dragon. Quickly approachin closer she now set loose her fire from her mouth. It all spread from the floor right in front of Rachel now charged right towards the wall were she stayed. Though she had to react quickly after her move, or she might end up crashing into the wall with great speed and what she hoped could get an heavy impact on her rival could also end up with her own doom.

Ummm... gee, I'm thirsty... oh yes, deadly inferno headed my way. Focus, girl. Right, so I could run, but there's fire. I could run up the wall, but I'd have to land at some stage. In the fire. Is it getting hot here or is it just... oh yeah. I need an aspirin. Could I hit her at this speed? No grappling hook. Crap. Jump on her back? Leap kick? LEAPING CIRCLE AXE KICK! Gosh, it sure is hot... hot hot, oh yeah, fire, wait FIRE!? CRAP! Or something along those lines. Possibly with more profanity. Taking one step back, Rachel took a small run before hurling herself through the air, her eyes squinted in concentration on her enemy. When the whistling noise stopped, Rachel opened her eyes. She was lying face first in the dirt, with no memory of the past few seconds. "Bib I fim?" she asked quietly, her voice muffled by the dirt. Her ankle hurt, which was funny. And not funny 'ha-ha', either, although the endorphins being released into her brain were slowly making it seem that way too. "Gosh, I really need some aspirin..." she thought to herself.

The fire wouldn't connect and the dragon flyed right into her own smoke that circled it's way up from the fire that now rested on the ground sending immensive heat from the ground. Everything went so fast. Rachel managed to make a leaping circle axe kick onto her back, before she was gone falling onto the ground. The little push managed to harm the dragons flight making her fall into her own death trap. Falling into the firy hell she now yelled out in rage of the fire surrounding her. With a small gasp of air. She tryed to get away from it's heat. With some of her resistance she managed to stay unharmed for a few seconds. Though instead of flying out from harm. She desided to make it through the flaming sea straight towards the female warrior. The fire started to damage her own skin, she felt sore all over her body. Though she kept moving until she bursted out from the firy hell. And sent forth her devestating ground attack by sending out three flares of fireballs towards her foe. Eather way if they connected. She might fall in her next move because her fugitive move to make her way through her own flames.

Then she remembered Malena. Oh, too late. Two flares struck the ground right next to her, while the middle one struck her right in the back, slamming her back into the ground. Her body went into low-level shock as it realised that it was on fire. She rolled to one side, succeeding in only rolling into another fiery patch. She thanked the heavens that the arena had a sandy ground; the flames were quickly being smothered. Still didn't stop her burns hurting like hell. Gasping for breath, she patted out the rest of the fire and lay on the ground, trying to get her agony-ridden brain in order. With perfect timing, the dragon thundered towards her from out of the flames. Sore from her wounds, Rachel forced herself back onto her feet and readied herself once more, forcing herself to think about cold ice-creams and strawberries to ignore the pain of her burns. Her movement would be hampered by her wounds, but if she fell, she'd make sure that her opponent would go with her...
