Yeah, as you can tell by the ungodly hour of this post, (2 A.M. because im not sure if you can tell XD ) i have sleep problems. But its not like i have a disorder, i can sleep if i want to, i just have too many friends online and too much stuff i can do to let that happen :whoa: And i end up with an aching spine, almost unable to stay away at shcool, and erratic speech, and typing as you can see right now. Should i go to sleep? Or not.

If it's affecting your everyday life then yes. Like me, when I stay up or can't go to sleep, I have flashes of retarded images, like minny master chiefs or I think I'm somewhere else. It's normal for someone to stay up, but it's not healthy, it messes up your brains wiring.

Yeah, that happens to me too. Of course with a messed up brain like me its...not pretty...really...not pretty. Like something out of silent hill kind of not pretty.

If you're tired then go to sleep, forcing insomnia isn't healthy I'm sure. But I can't talk really... especially because I'm a girl who goes to bed at 5-6 AM. Shame on me! But seriously dude, if you're not busy and none of those people are talking to you, it's good to rest up. ;)

Well as you can see people indeed are talking to me *holds up mirror to Reina* XD
Theres ALWAYS someone awake and chatting on the site i go to, especially since some are australian. So you can see the difficulty of the situation.

Indeed. But if you're not tired then by all means stay up. I somehow managed to sleep late and go to school feeling fine. But that was a few years ago and minus an annoying health issue. XD

I actually did a science project about 2 year's back in 7th grade, where I didn't sleep for a week. I did do it but apparently it made me go into a 'recessive shock' of some sorts, and it made me go into a short coma. Although it really does depend on how your brain is wired. Like people who travel alot, are naturally fitted to jet lag and different timezones. But who care's if someone talking, it's not like you'll miss much.

And in the same grade i was doing a science project on my own feces, so yeah, since my eyes are boiling out of my head right now, id say now is a good time to go to bed XD .

I can stay up for a few days at a time but it makes me unpredictable and crabby, it also means I'll crash and prabably sleep 12 hours straight...
So I can't really Advise it, personally im trying to stablise me sleep patterns...

If it weren't for people yelling at me to turn off the computer all the time I'd probably stay up all night too. Most nights I just lay in bed until 3 am just trying to sleep, so it would be nice if I could do something productive with that time, but noooooo. >>

The longer I stay wake past the 16-hour limit, the more hyper I get. Oo;;

I can stay up for 72 hours easily, with no ill side affects. In fact, I usually get about four to six hours of sleep a night, and it never made me none the more vegetable.

However, not sleeping for extended periods of time is no joke. It can actually lead to death if you don't get enough non-REM sleep.

=D One time, I stayed up 48 hours working non stop (school, club, work, projects) and finally went to sleep. I didn't wake up until another thirty hours later. I was almost taken to the hospital. =P

Sorry for my ridiculously long posts all the time! 8P

Impressive yet worrying. Sleeping for 30 hours straight is almost leaving those who live around you getting worried and might leave them calling the cops. Sleep is importent, i tend to keep a small scedule getting to bed around 8 hours ahead until it's time for me getting up and juiced for another days current events.

Yet, i have been up 24 hours ahead of me, and noticed it wouldn't be that hard keeping your self awake another day, yet as you mentioned LilAvii, what if you sleep through work and everything the next day. :o
