Reality shows. The scum of television. Just tell me a thing. How the hell can you even believe that what's happening in there is real  ? Think about it.

1) Most important. Very strangely, the people chosen to go in there, most of the time you already seen them in another reality show. Strange, isn't it?

2) Reality shows are based on common sense of go seeing other people's affairs. That wouldn't be so bad, if it wasn't already all made up. Which brings us again to point 1. Why are the same people every time overchoosed? Maybe because they already know how these things work?

3) Raise your heads! Can't you see? Example: take Big Brother (the book 1984 was desacrated with that show). And now, answer my question. Would you do sex, with a person you know from.... a month (not so away from normal for now, but...) , and do it knowing that everyone is watching you? Isn't that a bit to raise audience?

4) Horray for survivalism. A person, when it's put in a difficult situation, socializes to try to survive. Socializes? They're more fighting than socializing.

For now, this is it. Comment, add something too, rant that I'm a f****** moron. Do whatever you want.

Christmas is back again

I belive we all have our own oppinions about reality shows. My self, i have seen Big Brother and i aint that amused what they did show in some live episodes, though most of the crappy parts were only shown through the internet atleast over here.

Though i have seen many reality shows like something called The farm in english. It's about people who have to live in old days for about 10 weeks.

While i usually dont watch to much tv. It happens and i aint alone. About 1 000 000 other norwegians watch that reality show. Now that have not anything to with it.

Working on banner, but if your looking to have some time off. Come, visit my channel on youtube.

I'm not fond of reality shows, I just watch 'em for the lulz. There is one that makes me laugh everytime I see it: "The Moment Of Truth".

You get to win a truckload of money, just by telling the truth on personal questions. Personal questions?? So they're gonna ask random people about their lives and whether it was a good thing or not? Did you cheat? Would you cheat? You snuck in someone illegally? Wha??

The writers behind this show are genius I say, and the people that actually participate in it, I can't say due to the fact that the filter's on XD.

But you know what I mean when I say "Stupidity" should be stickered on these people, or somethin'. *shrugs*

Bah! Reality shows=gutta trash! They exploit the corruptness in people and are the most contradicting shows on TV. The ONLY good "reality" show is Extreme Makeover: Home Edition cause it actually does good things to people who deserve them.

Ha, Reality TV; my opinion with it is that is the crape that does not deserve showing, how one can get entertainment out of others acting idiotically (when it isn't humerous) is beyond my comprehension.

Animal Planet's triad of reality shows would like to have a word with you.

As for reality shows themselves, I'm neutral on them. Some I find genuinely entertaining for various reasons, while others take what I like about the few decent ones and pushes those qualities over the edge to annoyingly melodramatic heights, which doesn't help when most of the people on these latter shows are a-holes.

I find it funny how no one looks at the camera. They're there and they know it, but they never look acknowledge them.

Well, they're not supposed to. They're supposed to act as "natural" as possible and ignore it, hence the name of the genre: reality tv. XD

Besides, don't the characters usually offer some irrelevant commentary that annoyingly interjects the present action anyways?

I prefer Scrubs and House. All the reality I need.

By the way, I'm like the Janitor in real life. *whacks Mr. Pie in the face with a broom handle* Oops. XD

The man has taste.

On topic, reality shows obviously get ratings. And they generate publicity all the time - even if this thread is giving it the thumbs down it would appear, it's publicity nonetheless. If they were truly rubbish, they wouldn't make them.

When they first started over here in the UK they were fresh and invigorating. Now it's just the same old crap, but some people still wanna watch it. Fair play to them I say, watching television programs is becoming as individual as which is our favourite album, there's that much variety and choice out there.

It's not very realistic to go around avoiding cameras. XD So far I haven't seen any reality TV shows that have any "reality" in them. Survivor was horribly unrealistic.

I dont even have to look this topic over to know that what my views are shared by most people here (i did anywhys XD ) Reality TV is oxymoronic, it in no way embodies reality, and merely plays on the parts of people that makes them animals, the drama that people love to see, which almost never occurs in real life.

Reality shows are just funny to watch when your bored.
Watching other people's misfortune is fun right?

"The Flavor of Love" is funny as hell. This ugly guy with a lot of money is just proving to us that money and fame can get you **Bleep**es that'll fight each other for you.

The best show I'd have to say would be "The Moment of Truth"
Best
show
EVER

Although its not real reality.
