Yeah I'm a big fan of the Doctor Only COMPLETE series I've seen though is the Eleventh Doctor's, because I'm too lazy to watch ALL of the previous series |

This is the only reason I haven't tried watching it yet. Too many episodes to watch if I want to be fully informed. XP Quite a shame because it really seems like an insanely interesting show. |

Actually, it's more the celebration of a big harvest the Indians and the colonists had. The colonists didn't know how to farm when they came here, and the colony almost died out when the native americans decided to help them. Luckily, one of the native americans knew how to speak english because he was taken to Europe as a slave and released, allowed to return home. To make a long story short, the Native Americans taught the colonists to farm, and the following spring brought a huge harvest. They had a feast to celebrate the alliance of the Native Americans and the Colonists. Honestly, I think it's celebrating crazy luck. Funny thing is, it wasn't really a holiday until later. I think it was supposed to celebrate camaraderie and togetherness. But that point became kinda moot once we slaughtered most of the Indians and made them run the casinos. |
