It was alright. I had some nostalgias with the characters and stages I knew. The scoring mechanic isn't too bad, but it takes some adjusting to when you look at it the same way you would a Smash Bros. game. But all in all, some decent fun. Just wish you could either sign in as individual profiles for each player, or every player that's playing locally could use the unlocked items the main player has. LittleBigPlanet managed to make use of multiple profiles, so why hasn't anything after that been able to do the same? Is silly, Sony. Oh well, curiosity about the game satisfied. Not sure it was worth coming out smelling like smoke, though. Blech. Yeah, the game has a tendency to throw people off if they try to play like Smash Bros. And yes, I kinda find that bit about not being able to sign in with multiple profiles while playing locally strange as well. It's still pretty good, if you ask me. I just wish my internet connection was good enough to actually play in a match online, though. I always end up getting booted out due my faulty conection.

You know what, I'm not even going to bother. -walks away- Trust me, as a fan to the mythos for many years and having read every bit of lore I could sower from the franchise... it was disappointing plot-wise. Spoilers Namely, it retcons the entire Forerunner trilogy written by awesome Greg Bear for the most part�not even Bornstellar or Chakas are mentioned and they seemingly have been more or less removed from the mythos, the former becoming Didact entirely after the original Didact bestows his identity and memories onto the Manipular before he's 'executed' [i.e. left to die on a Flood-infested world] by the Master Builder and Chakas becoming Guilty Spark with help of the Composer. The Composer, according to Cryptum's and Primordium's description, has not rendered Chakas insane nor does it drive Forthencho insane as well after they are both composed. Which implies that the whole 'insanity' deal could have been avoided completely, rendering the 'flaw' discussed by the Librarian when talking about the Prometheans in Halo 4 inert and an empty plot point. The Didact did not hate humanity nor did he see them as a lesser adversary not worthy of the Mantle at all, he saw them as a nuisance at first�but after a thousand years of fighting them, he grew to respect them greatly. Hence why he devolved them rather than wipe them out, so they could return one day�having learnt from their mistakes. Which makes his whole 'humanity is not worthy of the Mantle' also inert. And these are just the major plot points here, Dev. Besides, I absolutely refuse to believe that a HAVOK nuclear bomb could annihilate a Forerunner ship, that's just a wee little bit stronger [Havok's carry a payload of twenty megatons] than what the UNSC normally fire from their MAC Cannons from their space stations, and you should know how well those did against the Keyship from Halo 2/3. ~~I also absolutely refuse to believe that Forerunners look like Space Voldemorts, they are supposed to be Tolkien-esque elves damnit.~~ But while it completely bashes most of the mythos as well, I will admit�the Chief/Cortana thing was perfect. They went what they were aiming for, which was a more personal story between the two... but the game's story could have been better and actually follow the mythos.
