From what I've heard from my brother (the other Transformers nut in the house) the third film was a bit of a borefest. He also had several issues with details and stuff but reckons the movie as a whole was kinda meh. Oh, and that Q is there just to terrify small children (and my brother). The guy is supposed to be an Autobot. Looking at his drawing of him after he came back, I'm inclined to agree. He also responded to the question "How much human involvement was there?" with "Too much." I'm not so sure if I'll be going to see it now, but I might just to complete the trilogy. *shrug* Ah, right. This Star Trek: Department of Temporal Investigations novel I picked up today is getting awesome. They even quote Steven Moffat (the man behind the modern Doctor Who series): "People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey..stuff" |
