 The shack is back! This thread will be for small discussions similar to what you would have on an instant messenger. Just to get closer to the community with discussionless posts saying, "Hi, I just signed on" or "Yawn, I'm tired today" for example.

In other news, I hate my chemistry teacher's teaching style.

Apparently, the book's supposed to teach the students, not the teacher. The teacher is there to give quizzes and tests, and to "reinforce" the stuff we "learned" from the book. In other words, we do homework, we go over homework, only the geniuses (and Kiara) actually figure out what we're supposed to do, and we take tests that nearly everyone does poorly on. We hardly even do labs. Chemistry is all math and books.

He says he has a 100% pass rate for all of his students when it comes to standardized tests, but that's probably because standards seem to be pretty low. I don't know a single person who failed.

-looks up from ungodly amounts of science homework- Photoshop Elements 6.0 (it's like Photoshop but cheaper and with fewer tools). I use Paint Tool SAI for the coloring.
