Mushroom Hill Act 2 Posts: 547 Group: A Rank Guardian Member #205 Joined: August 29, 2006	A demo of the new sonic the hedgehog for xbox 360 is now available for download on the xbox 360 marketplace, I am downloading it now, and I will post my impressions once I play it UPDATE: I just played the demo, at first, it seems horrible, bad camera angles, and insane attacks led to alot of cheap deaths, but once I got the hang of it, I realized, this is a pretty good game, the best thing is that even though this demo wasn't very impressive, I soon realized that it is actually the first demo of kingdom valley that was released, and since then the game has been improved, so no need to fear fellow sonic fans, there is still much hope. A few problems I had included: Debris from crates and walls impeding on my speed. Bad collision detection that turned an attack on an enemy into a suicide dive causing me to lose all my rings Game not responding to button presses which led to alot of deaths while trying to light dash. Finally, bad camera angles that don't let you see where you are going at times On a good note: The graphics are very good looking, and there are many features such as bump mapping that allows the wind to blow sonic's quills. Havok physics engine makes destroying crates and enemies look awesome. Great sense of speed that will make you reminisce about the old days of sonic gaming. Smart enemies that don't hesitate to attack you. New attacks such as the sliding move that allows you to destroy enemies while keeping speed.

Yeah, you need xbox live to download it but you can get it with the free version of xbox live, and the demo itself is free of charge, I finally perfected my skills in the demo and can get an S ranking everytime

Just tell him that you can set the parental controls so that it doesn't let you talk to people, because there is a way to do that, that way, he will know that you aren't talking to people
