One of the inside doors opened and a charred doorknob plonked to the floor, rolling very loudly. The wooden door creaked as it was pushed open slowly. Light filtered into the dark room, causing shadows on the floor. The shadow of a large foot became nonexistent as it hit the floor. It was metal and belonged to a 5 foot, 8 inch fox in metal armor of gray and blue colorations. Etched into the side of its helmet in small letters were the words "OCP POLICE 002" |

As Tails was flying out, he heard Cy-Fox arrive and turned. "Hold on, I thought I heard something!" He called down, flying back in and soon locating him. His eyes widened as he beheld the fox before him. "Holy...Is that really another version of me?" He wondered. |

"So what's this important call you've got to make?" Tails asked Tim as he followed him down the hall. "Well, I've got two; first, I've got to ring home and tell this strange tale to my friend, then I've got to ring my contact at the local library and hire out some books." "Book hire?" Tails said curiously, grinning, "That's urgent?" "Well, anything that can help us figure out what the heck's going on will help; hopefully I can find some answers in the Physics section, although..." he paused in mid-lecture and tapped his chin, "Maybe Ancient Mythology and History... Mathematics possibly... hmmmm..." Tim remained standing in one spot for a few moments, staring at the ceiling in thought. Tails gave him a strange look, then picked up the phone and nudged the other fox with it. "You still alive there?" he joked. Tim started and took the phone. "Oh, sorry; I get carried away with my thought sometimes..." Tim replied apologetically as he dialled the number. |

"Uh, hi?" Tails carefully asked his cybernetic version. Of course, he knew that he could easily overpower him with his control of technology if he turned out to be hostile, but he knew from experience to never be too careful. |
