Diamond The Hedgehog Bio Past: Diamond used to be a regular every day hedgehog until a piece from the moon, positively charged with chaos energy fell from the sky and corrupted him. (SA2) He gained new skills but was often made fun of at school, he became angry, and scared that his powers would hurt someone. In the end he ran away from home, never to return again� Personality: Lone wolf, I wouldn�t recommend getting in his way� Friends: Brute Echidna and Cosmos the Fox Weapons: Diamond is highly corrupted with chaos energy; this makes his fighting style very unique! His weapons of choice are the chaos diamonds he can shoot from his spines. He also likes nebula emeralds. He will improvise if he must. Powers: He can use many chaos abilities, like chaos diamonds (explained above), chaos control (duh), chaos meltdown (he exerts all the chaos energy in his body into a massive explosion, this leaves him WIDE open for attack), and chaos dash (this increases his speed to two times the speed of light). Enemies: Eclipse, anyone in his way Of course, he does have a super form too, it�s called Nebula Diamond. Vehicles: doesn�t have ANY!

There are several problems with this character, but first and foremost, you lack any sort of personality. He's completely one dimensional, uninteresting, and unbelievable. Remember, what matters to a character is not all the glitter of pictures and powers, but the literary character himself. When you create a profile, what you're trying to do is explain an interesting person; who he is, what makes him tick, what his beliefs, and feelings, and goals are like, and why. What you're trying to do is convince us that this person is real, and that his story merits our attention. For advice on how to do this, see the crit I gave Zal a page or two back. His wasn't bad, but was simply the first I read, and thus the one I gave most general advice. This could not be mistaken for a real person by any stretch of the imagination. His entire ethos has to do with this whole "bad-@$$" thing that seems to have been popularized by Shadow, and those like him. Bad-assishness has never be good characterization, is not good characterization, and never will be good characterization. Remember, every character should be little likable, even if he is a villain or antihero.
