Personally I like the name Dr. Robotnik better than Eggman... Anyone else agree? I think the name Eggman just makes him sound silly and unprofesional. |

Yeah, I don't really like it.. I grew up on games with Dr. Robotnik, comics with Dr. Robotnik, and cartoons with Dr. Robotnik. I think it sounds better... |

I hate the evil robotnic... He is annoying, and if he has such a high IQ he should really have beaten Sonic a while ago. For names? I like Eggman better. It's the name that Sonic calls him to make fun of him, which is fine with me! He looks like an egg man anyway, so the name suits him. Besides, Dr. Robotnik sounds more like a normal scientist or doctor to me. Eggman reminds me more of what he really is, a stupid smart guy. Characters still call him Dr. Robotnik, just Sonic and friends call him Eggman. |

A 'stupid smart guy' is a complete oxymoron. He's really intelligent, but just immature. Even Tails is more mature than he is. But I am so used to calling him Dr. Robotnik that even just yesterday when I was talking about him I meant to say Eggman but instead I said Robotnik. They only call him Eggman for his egg-like shape and obsession with making all of his creations having something to do with eggs. |

Funny, he didn't look all that much like an egg in the old sonic games, or atleast I don't remember him looking like it in the manual. In the comics he looked normal just like a fat person. lol |

Yeah. Dr. Robotnik makes him sound like an evil genious, eggman makes him look like not a good villain at all, imo. |

Eggman sounds like some dude who loves eggs. Dr. Robotnik sounds like some nerd who studied some kind of robot class. Either way its weird. |
