Well, these are some very good tips and I'm glad someone actually said them, because I say them all the time. I'm always offering people online here help if they want it and if I can help any way I can to either encourage them or help them study or something, but no one ever accepts. I'm glad not everyone around here is all happy about failing though.

That is one of the things that kind of ticked me off at some of the kids back in high school, was that they would be failing the class and tests and laugh about!!! That is so idiotic. You have to do your best in all classes no matter how much they suck. I get tired of people that just don't care about school at all. You will learn one day when you do these same things on a job and the Boss fires you because of things you do.

Just study and actually TRY!!!! If your lazy you deserve to fail and don't get my respect at all.

I doubt you could beat that unless you are a gamer as well! =P

I had a religion like class when I was in the 12th grade, but the teacher was so fun and told you exactly which questions from the notes would and would not be on the test, so it was MEGA easy for everyone to have like A's and B's in the class.

Getting money for good grades is always a good technique to motivate your kid to try and get good grades. I know it works, I got money often it seems.

Getting money would rawk. My only motivation was that if I passed my mom wouldn't freak out, and that still didn't work out most of the time. XD

It does rock. What would you think if your parents said, you get like 30 or 40 or something dollars, no exact amount of money, if you get very good grades. Like all A's and B's and the such. It works well.

Not everyone can afford to pay their kids for their grades, but it is a technique that definately encourages the kids to go out and do their best, because they will get a reward. That method can work at almost any age. Give someone a responsibility, and show them they will get a reward for doing it, and most people will try to do much better than they usually would, because they want the reward.

...but money just sweetens the deal. ;)

Money always sweetens the deal and gives you that extra push to do better if you get rewarded for it. XD
