Why is the majority of people against it? Because they always assume that "kids" are stupid and don't know jack about parenting. My philosophy on this is that it doesn't matter what age you are, as long as you can take care of them and support them. You can be 11 for all I care and have a kid. Again, as long as you can care for them and provide them with all the needed stuff. I honestly don't understand why people are so opposed to it. They should look at all the adult parents that are, if more, incompetent. |

Young pregnancy is something that shouldnīt happen, of course... A kid canīt take care of a baby on its own, only with the help of their parents. However, the worst thing you can do is abort a child. Itīs not the babyīs fault their mother is a kid, killing them for that is smething you might never never forgive yourself (kid or not), for a good reason. |

Taking it with science, teen pregnancy is very dangerous (more Post-partem abandoning and the subject is heavily signed for the rest of his life, not counting the phisical dangers his body suffered), but if a teen is VERY mature, she can have a son. But only if she is strong enough, by will and by her body. |

That's not TRUE! Not all chicks are like that, at least I'm not. I don't care about material possessions, how hot a guy is, make-up or any of that boulder crap. Back on topic, I think teen pregnancy should be a choice. If you really think you can handle a baby then by all means go ahead. But if you're one of those immature little girls (like the ones on the Maury show) then forget about it, because your just ruining your own life and your kid's life as well. There, I said it! |

I just say. The old days when video games didn't excist, when people had to work early to make sure the family survived to get enough food would not be anything unusual with having a kid at young age. But like at this very moment. I doubt it. There are some that actually gets kids at this sertain age, but why want to ruin their childhood and education by taking care of their children. It isn't like the family would try and make a world record in generations is it. Like o if we can make 7 generations in one family then we might end up in the World Record book. I would say, wait atleast until get over 18 years old or get done with education. |

Most people at that age let their hormones do the thinking for them. On her 18th birthday, she had him over at about 1am because my mom wasn't home at that point, but my mom came home and found him. She sent him packing and then my sister flipped out. The details get a bit fuzzy here, but she smacked my mom, my mom called 911 for some reason... and my sister was put in jail for the night. I don't really want to do something like that... People just aren't worth it. Knowledge is a totally different story... And dude, wtf. I'm always saying I'll be the old lady with fifty cats down the street... >[ I love kitties. :> |

Well, on this subject. I think you should at LEAST wait till after highschool and have found a job before going for kids. You need a steady income to have a kid. If you dont have a good income, then your just going to mooch off your parents money and more likely live with them, and they end up raising another kid when they were planning for some alone time at some point in their lives after you have left the house. More than likely its best to wait after college if either one of you plans to go to college, because then you will get a better job and be easier to buy the things you need for the kid. Also, I think there are some girls that are really into their possession, but not all are like that. I should know.  You have to find one that you truely like and can basically hang around like a very close friend. Not someone you like just because they look all hot and stuff like that.But also, cars are one of the reason I bet many teens are getting this happening to them though, because when they can drive, it's nearly impossible for the parents to regulate them before anything could happen first. So, you have to make sure the kid is responsible, because if they aren't, they will just run over and let their hormones talk for them and go do it with people, and before you know it, they have one of two things: A pregnancy, or a STD. |
