MSNBC's Keith Olbermann interviews a bold and honest physician/pediatrician from the University of Southern California who explains how medical cannabis can be used to treat ADD in children.

Weed doesn't kill you unless it's laced with something crazy. Yeah, I guess you wouldn't have ADD... But it would still be annoying. They would be constantly sedated and boring and extremely forgetful. Not harmful, but it's so friggin' annoying. Edit: Also, you don't get addicted to pot. Mentally, possibly, physically, no.

Getting better all the time Posts: 1,248 Group: B Rank Hero Member #3,727 Joined: November 19, 2007	This might not be bull, but it's not needed, I mean, I have ADHD, which is worse than ADD, and I'm just 14, sure, I can get annoying sometimes when I ingest too much sugar, but other than that, I am perfectly fine, especially now, because in my classes were i have Katy in, she's always making sure I am paying attention, but I don't really need that, because of my self will, I can focus, have a normal life, and do normal things without getting too out of hand, all you need is a strong will and friends/family, cuz that's what they're here for. And it's the alternative that does not require your lungs getting cancer too!

Eugenics anyone? I know I sound like a jerk but when I was a baby I was subject to being heavily medicated. Its a good thing my parents were smart enough to not be so blind to the destructive and poisoning effects of things like ritalin. I mean for christs sake the docs wanted my parents to give me anti depressants, steroids and all kinds of other #$%*ed up Shizz that would have destroyed me! How the hell can you live a life of pain like that? I don't understand... Meds can make people obese, depressed and ruined internally and externally. In fact quite a number of kids that are on the stuff don't even have ADD, ADHD, etc. How sad is that???? I pity the medical system deeply and how innefective it is Sorry for flaming like this...I've grown a hatred towards these kinds of things over the years. Please forgive me...

If I got trough it with just my self will and no superpowers, then just about ANYONE can, cuz there is nothing in me that is that special. Besides, smoking does significantly decrease your life years, even if you don't get cancer, and I do want to get past my 100's, thanks, but no thanks.

I just don't see the correlation between letting the kid smoke weed VS forcing a bunch of pills down their throat. Eh, whatever. You're right, kids really shouldn't be taking meds. I hear ADD wears off after a while in a lot of people, anyway. And the people that have the effects into adulthood usually have a better time coping, even without any form of drug, over the counter or otherwise.
