And I could point to Uncharted to prove them right and Gran Turismo 5, but who cares? Either way they both are getting downloadable content the 360 is only getting episodic content ALONG way after the game releases, so I really wouldn't consider that enough to buy the 360 over PS3. Nothing to get excited over yet and I think MS wasted 50 Million. They could have used that to develope a new game....

Plus PS3 will have online on par with 360 this year when Home comes out. It's a very good online infrastructure as it is, but considering I don't like online I could care less. Online games are always full of people who ruin it. Sore losers, punks, immature people...

I have to agree with you on that last part. but there are a lot of people who Ive met online who are really good, also I wouldn't consider online gamers here part of the evil squeaky voiced empire.

As for Home, I'm not so sure about how it will go over but it doesn't seem like a bad idea.

Anyways I'm not going to keep throwing 360 favoritism around, ur choice is whats best for you. But at least I can say I tried. XD

Ugh, I want this game so bad!!! Although games should be the last thing on my mind now, but I'm willing to bet this game sells over a million day 1. I mean it's getting 10/10s and I'm sure Gamespot will give it a 9.8/10 or something.

Its already proven that it can sell with the likes of Super Smash Bros and Halo, the amount of reservations alone and the fact that people are ALREADY camping proves that.

I know something that buggs you. That work you need. Well the game will not dissapear even if it arrives at the end of April. So i belive if waiting can be arranged then you wont be dissapointed even if you get the game about 2 or three months later after it's release. Though sure it is looking quite the awesome.

Though camping for the game sounds realy like there are noobs among us that do anything to get the first couple.

WOW!! IGN gave GTA IV a perfect 10/10!! Even though I don't think it deserves that high of a rating. 9/10 would be more suitable. :| There's no denying this game is WAAAYYYY over hyped, but it is still great and I will enjoy it.

I realy dont bother how high the rating get's along it stays entertaining. Though with just about two days away from it's release i belive you wont get a sample if you havent preorder it.

Nah, I think there will be plenty to go around. I got Vice City on the day it released w/out preordering it and PS2 had more userbase than 360/PS3 combined at that time.

It all depends on where you go.

How can you say that? You tried it? ;)

No, but it's all hype. All games that get rated 9.8 or above are just rated that way because of the hype and the "newness" factor. Brawl, GTA, Halo... They are good games, but they aren't THAT great, but it's as if the popularity makes them rate it higher.

GTA3 got rated high when it came out, but now it's SOOOO boring I'd rather be playing pong.

I want GTA4 though and I know it'll be good.

Anyway they compared the 360 version to the PS3 version. They're identical in most ways with PS3 having slightly better graphics and 360 having DLC.

Taken from GamesRadar.

While the PS3 and 360 versions of the game are functionally identical, the PS3's visuals sport noticeably smoother edges, along with a warmer color palette that makes everything look slightly more realistic. If you're looking to compare Accomplishments with your Achievement-hoarding friends, though, forget it - GTA IV ignores these half-assed consolation prizes altogether. PS3 owners also have to put up with a nearly eight-minute installation the first time they start the game, which puts the normally slower Blu-ray load times on par with the Xbox 360 version. (That is, unless it's running on a 360 with no hard drive, which we're told will face much longer loads.)

Really, though, load times are something you'll only have to deal with during startup and when you make sudden transitions from one area of the city to another - and even then, they rarely last more than a second.

Installation
The PlayStation 3 version has a mandatory 3.4 GB hard drive installation that will be the longest 7 minutes and 20 seconds of your life if your chomping at the bit to play. It's initially an annoyance, but PS3 owners will welcome it. There is no option to install the game to an Xbox 360 hard drive.

Frame Rate
The Grand Theft Auto series has never been synonymous with a rock solid frame rate, something it generally seems to get a pass for. While GTA IV is smoother in general than it's predecessors, it can expectedly suffer during chaos. The Xbox 360 version seemed capable of achieving a smoother frame rate, peaking higher in certain circumstances, such as in confined spaces or during light traffic, but both versions seemed to regularly run at a similar clip.

Pop-In & Loading
With a huge, seamless streaming world, data must be constantly read from the disc. The PS3 version, with its required HDD install, loads missions a couple seconds faster and decreases pop-in. The Xbox 360 version can suffer from some very noticeable texture loading, as things like trees, vehicles and building signs will regularly pop-in as one tools about town. It can be distracting, especially during high speed chases, and the PS3 version isn't entirely immune from it, but it's not a game killing problem.

Graphics
The two versions are so close to identical, visually, that putting together a comparison was a challenge. Initially, it appeared that the PS3 suffered from more noticeable aliasing than its 360 counterpart, but after eyeballing the final retail copy, they appear to be on par. I noticed that the paint filter applied to cover some of the game's imperfections appeared a tiny bit muddier on the PS3 version, with night time scenes seeing more streakiness. Some of these minor complaints may be the result of our particular television settings and require the finest of fine tooth combs to assess.

Well, if games would stand the reviews, we'd have more masterpieces than normal games.

I know... This could be the best selling game for the next gen consoles. Probably not selling better than VC. Vice City sold 14 million on PS2 alone and 360/PS3 still have a small userbase compared to PS2.

It's getting 10/10s everywhere too.
