STEP BACK, ANTI-SPIRAL!
My computer, known as Vorcha2 by my family (considering Vorcha crashed >.<) has a little problem. I'm using Windows XP and now have a serious problem.

As some of you might have noticed, i have occasionally mentioned Jedi Outcast here and there. well duh, I own it... but yesterday i went into it regular, except i didn't double click, i more like triple or quad clicked accidentally. I heard two Jedi Outcasts come on, and when it came up it was too dark. Jedi Outcast's brightness and stuff is up so that it's different from regular. I closed it to try again and make it bright, but when i closed it i found the regular bright one underneath. So, naturally, i play.

*1 hour later*

I get off Jedi Outcast, and LO AND BEHOLD! now my entire computer is bright! Not only that, it's whitewashed! I have the regular silver XP configuration, but instead it's all blindingly white! Right now my eyes are hurting from the REGULAR Sonic Blast skin hurting my eyes!!! On the smileys, Espio's face blends with his eyes. We tried switching to an older monitor of ours, but it's not the monitor's problem. We tried everything, and it won't go back to normal! Luckily, i managed to change my theme so that all the toolbars are black, but i'm pretty sure they're supposed to be dark grey in this theme >.>

That's the center of the computer.
Select "Screen" and select "Options".
You should realise out there.

all systems go

Try this...

My Computer > Control Panel > Display > Settings > click on advanced > Overlay.

Or just poke around that area.

If that doesn't work, your monitor might need some adjusting (with the buttons directly on the monitor). I know you said it's not the monitor, but you could give it a shot anyway just to see.

Christmas is back again

This is an unusual problem. Have never heard of this before. The only thing i would consider is maybe to change the colors to 32bit, or maybe 16 bit.

Maybe there is some connection there. If the game have some color requirments that makes the game work more smooth then you should use that.

Maybe the game works with the other color change as well but it might be something false about it. Have you scoped out the readme file to the game. :o
