Sonic the Hedgehog 3 was the last one... Then they started using names like Sonic Blast, Sonic Adventure, Sonic Something... They've never used Sonic 4. What are your thoughts on this? Do you think they should make a game named this? I personally think they should. It would be a perfect name for a game that brings Sonic back and popular by being GOOD. lol

This was also known as Sonic the Hedgehog 4. Bits and pieces have been around online, but the game itself was never released. So Sonic 4 was a real game, but unreleased.

It possibly could have been called Sonic 4 if it was released, but no one knows. And it doesn't need to be Side Scrolling. I think a 3D game that propels sonic back into mainstream like Sonic Adventure did.

But anyway, I think Sonic 4 seems like a pretty demanding name, meaning Sonic would have to live up to it's original titles in it. Thus, I think it would be a great idea if they did actually make a Sonic 4. Might be something worth looking forward to.

He did change, but doesn't make the Sonic 4 name irrelevant. He also has changed since Sonic Adventure so by that logic that name wouldn't fit well with his new look. Sonic 2006 also would not fit either then because it was just titled Sonic the Hedgehog. I think Sonic 4 would work fine because it's more epic of a name than Sonic Adventure 3. It also means it would have to live up to being a direct sequel.

Naming by number isn't as interesting, and all those games were still a while back... I just wouldn't prefer it, but if it happened, I wouldn't mind it.

Well how do you know Crackers was Sonic 4? It could have been called Crackers when it was release. It may not be the best name, but if the game was good enough it would be the perfect name to get people to know SONIC IS BACK! Kinda like Resident Evil. They had tons of spin offs after 3 then 4 came out and everyone knew it was gonna be great.

Try and focus on the game, and make it faster and more entertaining like the precestors was in the old times. Maybe create some more bosses like with a special twist, and stages with different of difficulities. Like it was made in the 2d time of age, just in 3d. Create is a question, but reality is nothing so close to real action. Dunno what i said, but whatever, they should try and make a 4th Sonic game with that title and realy make a work into it.
