Those games rocked. I can still sit down, dust off the old PS1, and beat Spyro or at least try to again. Either way, its a freakin awesome game. |

Yeah that one rocks. I liked 2 and 3 as well but they lacked in that good old classic feelin. |

Spyro is a great game too! I have the old games for my PSone, and a GBA game and Hero's Tale. I got bored with Hero's tale, I don't know why but I feel like it lacks, like as the games progressed it got more and more character team ups and you had to beat those levels to advance. So, if you lacked in flight skills, or something you're pretty much in trouble. I disliked playing as Sparx... and I don't like the mole guy or whatever it's boring... Classic all the way, FTW! |

That's untrue.... The classics had to start somewhere and the classics somehow had to become good enough to be considered classics. They could easily make one just as good, but they just need a good development team which would create a new classic. |

By that logic there can never be anymore classics and all the classics you played aren't classics, because there were games out way before those. Sonic 2 isn't a classic, because it wasn't always old.... |

Ok... I'll explain more clearly. The first few games of any game series are classics. The origionals. Typically games following the first few lack what the series started out with. Thus thats why classics can't be beat. Like an example of newer classics... Halo. That came out within tha past 5 years... thus its newer. Its the start of a series so its a classic. Eventually if Halo keeps going they wont be able to top the origionals, its tha way of the gamming world. |
