Knuckles had been the first character i saw in the first Sonic Series i saw, Sonic Underground. I just went to Disney Channel and it was Episode 29 of Sonic Underground. I saw Knuckles leading the triplets into the Main Control Room to get the Chaos Emerald and i instantly loved him! So Knuckles is my most favorite and memorable eversince. |

Oh, I love Knuckles! Love, love, love, love, love~! I have a huge softspot for the "harsh on the outside, soft on the inside" type of character, and an even bigger softspot for the "underdog" - both of which Knuckles is (it's sad that Sonic picks on him though D:). I also find it quite amazing how Knuckles can be like this yet still be an extravert (even if he is somewhat socially awkward). I also find it amazing how he puts so much effort and devotion into something he probably doesn't particularly like doing (come on... who would actually like to sit in front of a giant green rock, completely detached from society, with an in-built fear that if you fail, catastrophe happens, day in and day out?), and for reasons he knows not, himself. He tries so hard to live up to the ancestors he never knew, and that is just... Too... Cute! I'm probably one of the few people who likes his gullibility, as well XD;. He isn't street-smart like Sonic, academically smart like Tails, or socially smart like Amy... No, he's wild smart - he knows how to look after himself and how to survive out there in the big wide world... And he also seems to have vast knowledge of legends and such. I believe that it's his lack of social understanding that makes him so gullible, or, conversely, so mistrustful... This is understandable, so I don't think it makes him a bad or stupid character... He's merely misinformed... Doesn't know any better. That's why I think it's so cruel that Sonic likes to tease him... Is that really a good way to be introduced into society? Being used as an underdog/fall-guy? I could ramble on all day as to why I love Knuckles, because he's such an awesome echidna, and I can't wait to see him develop further as a person. He deserves a whole lot better than what he seems to be getting. And I thus end this miniature rant. ...Did I mention that I love Knuckles? ;3 |

I totally agree with you CookieChomper! I wish they would further develop his character, he needs more story to him instead of just sticking around and helping Sonic now... |

Knuckles ftw. He is the only character to make use of his element - Fire. He also is stated to be Sonic's best friend, and Tails is more of his "Little Brother" than his best friend. He has dreads, that owns. Plus, it was stated that, all around, he is actually better at fighting than Sonic. He can run up to 200 MPH, and Sonic 734 MPH, which is the only thing that Sonic is better at, running. If Knuckles crashed into Sonic again, Knuckles would knock him the hell out as usual. Super Knuckles was just better. He had the ability to destroy things on impact/touch outside of the game, and he was well, Pink. And, If I stand to be corrected, Archie said that Chaos Knuckles was the single most powerful being to be created in the Sonic Universe, capable of omnipotent potential, time travel, and Chaos Power leveling with Enterjak. Chaos Knuckles is also said to be greater than Super Sonic, Hyper Sonic, Ultra Sonic, or even Solar Sonic, by far. If it came down to it, Chaos Knuckles could rule the world, literally. Knuckles is proven to own all else. Plus, its hinted that in the games he knows a level of Chaos Control higher than Sonics, but slightly lower than Shadows. |

X3 CC, you share my sentiments about Knuckles precisely. Although, you mentioned something about Sonic teasing him that makes me adore their strained friendship. He does it specifically just to see him riled up. He's a bit of a sadist when it comes to Knuckles, and the echidna falls for the bait nearly every single time. It's odd, though, because Knuckles has actually lost the majority of his gullibility. In the games, he hasn't been tricked by Eggman for years and knows exactly not to give him and some other characters the benefit of the doubt anymore. Yet his closest ally can get him just as hot as anyone else. So while it's easy to feel sorry for Knuckles in these instances, both characters seem to enjoy it, which effectively makes their predictability fun to watch. As for the exploration of Knuckles' character, I agree that he and nearly every other character could stand some development. I would opt for it not to deal in his past, however. He blatantly gave up trying to figure out the mysteries of his past and is content with that aspect in his life. And Haro, where exactly is it hinted in the games that Knuckles can actively perform Chaos Control in the games better than Sonic, especially when he's never done the maneuver before? |

As much as I like Shadow, I think Knuckles is a better rival. I hate the fact SEGA made Knuckles Tails.2 when Shadow came around. I personally preferred Knuckles as a rival. |

Knuckles was great, although he has lost popularity. I still like him, but as his popularity fell, I didn't like him as much. Shadow has a lot to do with this. Now with so many hedgehogs, it's hard to count in Knuckles as and echidna (they need more echidnas). |

I adore Knuckles  The only thing I don't like is how his character has changed. He went from being mysterious, dangerous and hard hitting, to bad tempered, REALLY gullible and Sonic's new buddy. Either way, I still like him. I just wonder, can he shrink the M.E. or something? It vanished when he got it back in SA2B and only reappeared when he was about to use it - and if he doesn't do that, then how does he know it's safe when he goes on an adventure? |

Knuckles is simply made of Win. He was cool as a rival but I don't mind being him ''sonic's buddy'' I think their relation should be kept the same as in SA1, exchange few teases and few yo's. Do you need him to be part of Retard Heroes? |

Dudez, Knuckles is a punk, He's a good character. I really love his attitude. And I had the vibe that Knuckles was supposed to be the whole "mysterious dude" in the series before Shadow did that role better than him. I like how he's like, chill, yet deadly. It cancels each other out, but not in a bad way. In SonicX, he's way too much of a punk for me to like, but in the games, he's really cool. In the comics, he's ALRIGHT, nothing to shout about. Yeah, Knuckles the punk is pretty cool. |

I still want to know why Knuckles is guarding the Master Emerald. I mean, don't give me any bullcrap about "He neeedddsss to!!" NO. HE. DOES. NOT. People still manage to get it anyway, so why not go out and have a life, Knuckles? And if someone tries to take it (again) just do what you always do when someone takes it or breaks it (again). |
