If you have noticed, most likely you have not, You will see a banner of advertisements at the top of Sonic Blast. Now they look the old ones, but they are not. These are my own and they do not relate to Invisionfree by any means. Now, Let me answer what may be common questions. May I move/resize the advertisement on my InvisionFree forum? No you may not. Trying to alter your advertisement is against InvisionFree Terms of Service and it will result in the closure of your forum. With or without warning. May I place advertisements on my InvisionFree forum? Yes, but only after you have purchased ad removal from InvisionFree. As long as the InvisionFree ad is not placed, you can place your own. This could require you to invest quiet a bit. For details on ad removal, click here. Where does the profit from advertisements go? If enough money is raised, in the future I would like to reward staff for their hard work, I would like to purchase such things as hosting & domains for Sonic Blast. Does this mean staff earn a salary? No. The ads are mainly a source for motivating and feeling that you are not only working for the members' satisfaction, but also some personal profit and sense of accomplishment. Many staff have worked very hard, and I don't see why they don't deserve a small gift for their birthday, etc. I make no guarantee as to how much money (or value) if any will be released. Should I or can I click on an advertisement just for the heck of it? NO. Please, only click on advertisements that interest you. DO NOT click on them just for the heck of it. |
