Don't tell me what I can or can't do! Posts: 4,317 Group: Former Monarchs Member #13 Joined: April 13, 2006	Mario Party 8 is being shipped to most stores today! I heard some people already got it. Mario Party 8 is the 8th sequel to the most popular party game franchise. Based on the most popular franchise itself. (Sonic will always be the most popular in my book of course.) Since this game is on the Wii, this may be the best Mario party to come if Hudson does it right. They usually put more effort into the Mario Party games and turn all other party games into trash. My dad reserved a copy for me. So I will be getting one tomorrow and play it so that I can share my opinions. Anybody have it?

I don't think it is now. Super Mario Sunshine didn't sell that well.

I think ever since the snes, the sells have been declining. Anyway as a whole Mario has still sold the most out of any franchise.

It should have died years ago, but the game designers refused to let it die a quiet death. Plus, it may be the best selling series, but that's only because it has so many crappy games that it's impossible to not be the most bought series. I look for quality in games, not quantity.

Because you have to really interact with the game thanks to the Wii remotes. I won't say much else because of spoilers...
