Well, mine dates back to like 92-93. I got a new Sega Genesis for Christmas from my grandma and Sonic 2 came wit it. I got hooked and tha rest was history. (i was like 3 at tha time) |

I was hooked when I played sonic 1 on the mega drive. Seen as it was ahead of its time, I was quickly buying the sequels. |

Youtube Account - Poops, Leekspins, and just about anything else The forum community these days has changed rapidly from what it was. You can no longer sit down and post quietly in a topic and then come back in a couple of days and stll understand the thread of the discussion. Nowadays, the overflow of posting and the stupidity of some members is annoying and degrading. People have no care for what you post anymore, they simply see it as a means of furthering their own post count and making themselves look good. It's all flashy signatures and huge egos and trolling and noobs. Good forums died long ago when people weren't such twats. And that, good people, is why you won't find me much on this forum. Because I was buried under all the crap everyone made when they came in. | |

Same here. At the moment I am hooked on Sonic adventure two battle. I love the chao! ( I have done my typing like this 'cause of the screen. I think it has something to do with the2pacfan47's signature.) |

I played Sonic the Hedgehog at my best friend's house when I was five. But if AOSTH was on before 1995, I believe it was, then that kind of started it. :lol: |

I got Sonic 2 with my Genesis. Then I got Sonic 3, then Sonic 1(for $6), then Sonic and Knuckles(for $70). |

whoa! thats more expensive than some Xbox 360 games! i got into sonic when i bought Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. i kinda got hooked to it. so i got Mega Collection Plus. |

I got a Sega Genesis way back when they were pretty new, and I got Sonic and Sonic 2. That hooked me, and I eventually got Sonic & Knuckles. Loved the games ever since. |

I saw Sonic on a Frosties cereal box and then a few years later I got to play SA2 on my cousin's Dreamcast when I went to America on vacation. Another few years later I saw a picture of Sonic Heroes and I remembered the previous occasions, got the game and became instantly hooked. I seem to have an image in my head of Sonic, Tails and Knuckles in 3D in a foresty area at night, resting under a ledge.....I've had it in my head for ages and I dont even know if its real O_o |

Be careful about off-topicness, guys.  I first found out about Sonic on a rainy day, I was bored, I was sitting inside my house, flipping through channels, and I saw Sonic carrying Breezy the Robo-Hedgehog, saving her, and I couldn't help but get interested. I didn't know who he was, but I looked and looked and skimmed until I found out. In case you're wondering, it was the old Toon Disney shows. 'The Original Adventure of Sonic the Hedgehog', I'm sure its called. ~Natla |
