Is this going to be strictly games or can members review things like movies as well? I see it's currently only games but I'm sure others would be willing to do other reviews as well.
For now, I only want game reviews. I want to take some time to create a clean, organized page for reviews. Afterwards, I'll allow reviews of other things. I was hoping games would be enough, but I'll consider movies and music albums for it too.

Yeah but if it is supposed to have a "professional" feel to it then it should be just that-- professional. But having a free for all where anybody can submit isn't exactly professional. Idk I guess I'm just not cool with the idea of it having to be a specific, set format simply because some people (such as myself) may feel the need to express our opinions in different or even unorthodox ways.
And I get what you're saying about the word limit. But those word limits are considerably small for game reviews. Or is that just me?
The website supports the forum, not vise versa, which is why I want open reviews for the members. Member interaction is key on a forum. The "professional" feel I am hoping for is for the sake of the visitors, so they can see what the members can offer other then a good time with discussion on the board. I know for a fact that this board is full of intellectuals. Having a set format won't limit anybody. The format covers key aspects to a review anyway.
And no, it's not just you. The word limit is short on purpose. Of course, you're welcome to go over it. Write a novel if you'd like. The more the better! I just figured having a small word limit would help get enough detail for a decent review, which is all I really hope for.
Hey there party people! I started a gaming YouTube channel! I'll be posting all my latest vids in the signature. Keep up with them!
Sonic Crossroads
6 years ago, I began a fangame project called "Pure Shadow". I cancelled the project due to lack of time and other priorities. Now that I'm in college, and have loads of more time, I found the file and began to pick it up again. After refreshing my memory of all the coding put into the engine, I decided to use it to write a new project. Drawing out a new plot and new gimmicks for the project, I decided to rename this project called Sonic Crossroads.
This project is going to be completed in Game Maker 8 PRO coded by myself and my friend who goes by the alias, MastaaFrederick. Because of our lack of experience in many aspects to increase enjoyability (such as music, artistry, animation, etc.), we want to develop a small team to work on this project. Anyone who is interested, please message me.
On top of these things, we want to create a new antagonist for the story. We, MastaaFrederick and I, need a whole new character concept. We want the most creative fan character we can find, and create a sprite sheet for this character. We would like to find a character via messenger.
