=SB= Civil War Sign-Up Thread
Name: Taylor Hiss
Species: Human
Fur/Hair Color: Brown hair
Eye Color: Brown eyes
Appearance: Is built long and thin; and wears baggy jeans with an old bomber jacket and T-shirt. Carries a dark green Remington 700 rifle with him at almost all times.
Backstory/History: An outsider, whose distinct talents will put him under G.U.N.s scrutiny before long.
Powers/Abilities: Taylor is able to conjure fire and control it to the finest extent. He also has the relatively unique ability to travel between dimensions, but he keeps that as a closely guarded secret, for obvious reasons. Taylor is also an expert marksman, and always carries his rifle, which is rumored to have special properties which only he can tap into. *zip*
Alliance: Neutral/Against registration
Reason for siding with that Alliance: As Taylor is an outsider to this conflict, he'd prefer to stay uninvolved. But it is only a matter of time before he may be forced to put his life on the line for his own standards.

(Is okay?)

Air Castle/ The Lost Dragon Kingdom
Name: Taylor Hiss
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Race: Caucasian (If I got that right...)
Education: Former military, chief of logistics
Weapons: Custom Remington model 700 rifle, black-market 'Saber' handgun
Specialty: Excellent marksmanship and people skills (rather disparate specialties, but I'm not really caring.)
Other: The black market handgun is assembled together with a metal piece that makes it appear to be a solid metal brick, presumably a computer battery. Only Taylor knows the method of disassembling said brick.

After Earth. The power to end wrolds
Taylor was sitting down in a restaurant, enjoying a quiet, sit-down meal for once. It was one of those things Taylor needed regularly to keep relatively sane. He'd had a hankering for pancakes for a while, so that was what he was eating right now... until someone was noisily thrown through the front door of the premises.
Austin had thrown a passerby who had said they'd seen Taylor enter the restaurant. After that, he walked in himself. Looked like it was gonna be another one of those days to Taylor.

Taylor lined up a second shot, this time for the leonine beast. 'Cause from where Taylor stood, it didn't look too good for the brothers. While he didn't expect pinpoint accuracy, the distance involved made this a feat beyond a normal sniper. After lining up the shot, Taylor pulled the trigger, the recoil from the rifle knocking him off-balance from his strange perch.

Taylor saw the beast that Serenity faced through the scope. Bingo. Knew something was gonna go down. With a deadpan-serious look on his face, he leapt off the roof, seemed to dissolve into the wind, and reappeared lining up a shot at the beast from a nearby rooftop. If nothing else, the shot from Taylor's spirit-possessed rifle would at least leave the monster reeling.

(Explanations will be forthcoming, I assure you.)

visit to Crystal City
Taylor had seemed to vanish from the corridor without a trace. In reality, he was now on the palace roof, looking out over the city through the detached scope of a sniper rifle. The 'donor' rifle was a dark green thing, most resembling to a Remington 700, that was currently hanging by a leather strap from Taylor's shoulder.

"Uh..." Taylor began to stammer and back out of the room. "Uh... people like me tend to... make this kind of thing worse just by being there..." He said.

"Far be it from me to tell anyone how to live, but that seems like the worst possible thing you could do to yourself," Taylor said to Serenity, sighing. "Now, mind telling me what that thing is?" He asked Ress, about the odd being. Bad bad bad...

Taylor just stood there with a blank look on his face. "Uh... what just happened?" He'd been making no attempt to hide his presence, he just stood in the doorway. Things never spiraled faster out of control than when Taylor had no clue.

Taylor sighed and followed after Ress, he didn't want to be left alone, since he was rather prone to getting lost... That, and he figured Ress just might need someone to take the fall for him. Urza's eyes, how bad did I just screw up?

Taylor happened to glance down the hall, seeing Serenity run off. "Damn it, I think she overheard what we were talking about," he muttered. "This could be bad."

Taylor sighed, there was never a painless solution to these dilemmas. "I'm sure if you just told her the truth, and the reasons behind what you did, she'd understand. Of course, I don't know her as well as you do, so I could be wrong, but hey. You'll only make it worse if you keep hiding it," he offered. "All in all, I don't know why you're asking me, a complete stranger, for advice..."
