On death Row
As the backup arrived, and the wolves not mowed down closed in, Taylor flipped his rifle over his shoulder with one hand, and flames appeared around his newly-freed hand. "Need some room, first..." he said, raising his hand, and a wave of flame burst forth to the group assailing him and Kellsho. "Think we got a breather, though."

On death Row
Taylor, silently thankful for Kellsho's backup, kept taking shots, many to cripple, only killing if a friendly's life was on the line, shooting down the wolves assailing Canrie and Red. One moment, he took a shot at the cheetah that had knocked Canrie into her current predicament, but it was a hasty one. Otherwise, he lay down a steady series of shots.

On death Row
Taylor watched the altercation between Kolca and Kellsho with a sort of bored interest, not buying the 'god' thing for a minute. Then word came of the attack, following the others out to the castle gate, but stopping there to settle in and pick off the attackers with his rifle. "Time to wake up, Cain," he said, and a faint golden glow came from the lens of the gun's scope.

On death Row
Taylor bowed respectfully, and introduced himself. "My name is Taylor Hiss, Your Highness. I worked with Princess Ail during an... incident, a few years ago." He wasn't sure what else to say... so he just kept quiet unless he got talked to.

On death Row
Taylor flinched as the alarm went off, but composed himself quickly. He nodded to Canrie and followed her through the town streets towards the castle. It would likely have been his first time entering a castle through its front gate rather than having to sneak in, given how the man worked...

On death Row
"I'm not sure, but I think they just broke up a riot," Taylor told the guy with the tattoo. He watched Kellsho start walking off out of the corner of his eye. "My advice, find a cheap motel to settle down for the night. Town seems to be a little on edge," he said as he turned to follow Luna and Canrie. "Maybe we'll see you around."

On death Row
Taylor, too, had followed Luna and Canrie to the store, and he'd actually had a similar idea to Kellsho's tactic, but the assassin had beat him to the punch. It'd also helped that Kellsho was apparently of some local fame, so he could keep a low profile, still. He was still trying to grasp that Kellsho wasn't pissed off about having been shot at the wrist. He pulled the long green rifle from its holster on his back, and let his stance and the weapon say all he had to add on the matter.

On death Row
"It's good to see you again as well, Miss Luna," he said politely. "How has Aquis been? I'm not sure, off the top of my head, how long it's been since we took out that Deyvon guy back on Mobius..." he muttered, probably misremembering the name of their adversary from the last time he'd worked with Ail and the WWPO.

On death Row
Taylor couldn't help but smile a little as Canrie jumped up and hugged him. "Oof, take it easy, Canrie, it's nice to see you too," he laughed. "I got in a few days ago, thought I'd wander around a bit. I didn't realize at first this was your world." His smile faded, though, as his thoughts turned to her other questions. "Look. I... I still don't want to talk about it. I just don't think I'm the right fit for the organization, alright? It's better if I kept it solo," he said.

Millstone of Time RP Signup - REBOOT -
I'm gonna withdraw. I'm not gonna be able to make it.

On death Row
Taylor noticed Canrie run by, but before he could say a word, she'd run past and slammed into the door. "Yikes..." He rushed up to Canrie, vaguely aware of Luna about to confront the rabbit he'd just passed. "Hey, kid. Canrie. You alright?" he asked.

On death Row
As Taylor passed by Kellsho, he didn't give any indication that he recognized the rabbit assassin. He looked at him out of the corner of his eye as he passed, apparently suspicious of him... but that was it, and Taylor was pretty much gone down the alley without a word.

On death Row
Meanwhile, Taylor made a point of getting lost again. He figured it'd be a matter of time before someone from Ail's organization put two and two together. Aside from Ail herself, he could think of a handful of those he'd worked with those years ago that might recognize the sound of his weapon... and there were only so many places he could be staying. Not every place in this town catered to humans. Idly, as he wandered the back alleys back to the inn he was staying for now, he would wonder about whoever else he was gonna run into today.

On death Row
Some distance from the procession itself, Taylor pulled out his dark green sniper rifle, and took aim at Kellsho's hand. He owed Ail for a few years back; this was as good a way to pay her back as any, taking out what looked like an assassin. With any luck, he'd cripple the gun hand and be gone before anyone could chase him... but he had to wait to get the right shot, that wouldn't hurt anyone else. "Just... a... sec." He sucked in a breath, adjusted his aim a hair... and fired, the gunshot echoing around the whole street.

On death Row
Taylor moved on as the royal family passed down the road and around the corner. This her world, then? Now I wonder... he mused as he meandered along some back streets, coming around somewhere farther down the parade route. He wasn't familiar with the city; a less generous person would say he got lost.

On death Row
Taylor stood near the street, watching the parade pass by, taking a much-needed rest from a previous mercenary gig. He wouldn't be too hard to pick out from the crowd if one knew him, though the only acknowledgement he'd give to recognize Ail as she passed with the parade was a quirk of his eyebrow. He'd worked with Ail and her organization before, though after it was all said and done, he'd made clear he wasn't about to officially join up.

On death Row
You should remember this guy. ;P

Name: Taylor Richard Hiss
gender: Male
age: 30-ish.
species: Human
height: About six feet, give or take.
appearance: Current avatar for pic. Taylor is a tall, lean, fair-skinned human who dresses unseasonally heavily, in blacks (bomber jacket, shoes) and dark blues (shirt and jeans). He has brown eyes and a brown MacGyver-style mullet for his hairdo.
likes/dislikes: Wait and see, dammit.
personality: Taylor channels a variant of the "rebel without a cause" archetype with his demeanor. On the surface, he's a bad-tempered loner who happens to help the needy a little bit more often than is convenient. But his irksome demeanor is a ploy meant to distance himself from those he fears to wound through poorly-made decisions, the guilt of some still haunting him to this day...
weapons:
Custom Pistol: .50 caliber, manual-cycling piece with a larger magazine and longer barrel than usual, made from a shiny black alloy unknown to most people.
Komodo's Snipe: Spirit-indwelt sniper rifle, dark green in coloration, with many supernatural "features." (Pray you don't have to ask.)
powers:
Dimension Jump: The ability to leap between universes. Taylor requires ten minutes of prep time before he can attempt the leap, and can only do so once per waking "day". (Won't be invoked except as part of character intro)
Combat Pyrokinesis: A limited ability to create and control fire for use in a fight. Comes in four "flavors": standard fireball, explosive fireball, jet of flame, and flame-empowered punches.
Mirage Evasion: By subtle manipulations of ambient heat, Taylor can displace or duplicate his image to confuse someone he's fighting.
bio: Not much is known about him. He's worked with WWPO in the past... And that's about it.

worst classic zones?
What's with all the Flying Battery rage? I really liked that one.

Labyrinth is a given, and I'm not much a fan of Star Light or Scrap Brain; too much senseless dying in the latter, Star Light's got nice music, but it's pretty 'meh'. Hate the bombs, though.
Mystic Cave, ugh, it's a pain to go through when Super, Metropolis... -cringe- ...and Wing Fortress for the same reason as Scrap Brian, made worse when you go Super.
(Actually starting to see the justification for FB rage here, but still...)
I'm actually a fan of all the S3/S&K zones... with the possible exception of Knuckles's route through Lava Reef Act 2.

The Whole Trayvon Martin Saga
Well, at THIS writing, Zimmerman has been arrested and formally charged. Just putting this out there.
I still think this is gonna turn out like the Anthony case...

Hello everyone
Much of what Chaos has said could apply to me, too, though I don't hang around in the Shack topic so much, and if I do, I present myself as the only sane person, or else erratically violent.
Oh. And I'm not Australian.

Otherwise, welcome, hope to see you around for a while!
