No, Otaku, it's not. Read the first post, it's invite only.

The Future is Unsettled
Desired Role: Path Grasper
Name: Taylor Richard Hiss
Age: 30
Gender: Male
Species: Human/Planeswalker
Weapons: Primarily his sniper rifle, the Komodo's Snipe. He also carries a one-handed longsword for when sharpshooting isn't a good idea.
Powers: Taylor is a rather powerful mage, able to tap into a well of pre-primoridial energies to fuel his spells. His favorite kind of spell is a fire spell.
Skills:(fighting style, moves, magic spells, attacks, archery, swordsmanship, swimming, ect)
Strengths: He's skilled enough to cover all the bases when it comes to fighting, and allows him to combine different methods into single attacks.
He's a well-known mercenary. People don't like to fight him due to his reputation.
He improvises most of his so-called techniques. Making him unpredictable.
Weaknesses: Despite his skills, the fact that he's not focused in any single class of fighting is detrimental to his power.
He is a mercenary. He can be bought off.
Sometimes, his improvised moves backfire. Especially painful when it involves his magics.

Florida Teen finds rocks in DS Box
I got pegged with an empty box as well from GameStop. 'Course, I'd checked within five minutes of leaving the store, in the mall corridors, so... it ended up being all good. Problematic the big chains may be, but they are nothing if not convenient.

Video game quotes
"Don't worry. I'll be right behind you. You can chew me out on the other side..." Aretha, LINX #00, Armored Core 4.

"It's me, Three Dog, your friendly neighborhood disk jockey! What's a disk? Hell if I know, but I'm gonna keep talkin'!" Three Dog, Fallout 3.

Mary-Sue Character Test
...Yeah...

Taylor is suspiciously similar to you as you'd like to be. He isn't really very cool: he blends into crowds, he hangs out on the fringes at parties, and wearing shades after dark makes him run into things. He may have sometimes thought that he was special, or destined for greater things, but probably dismissed the idea as a fantasy. He's come in for his share of hurt, but gotten off with minor damage. And he's gotten no slack from you.

In general, you care deeply about Taylor, but you're smart enough to let him stand on his own, without burdening him with your personal fantasies or propping him up with idealization and over-dramatization. Taylor is a healthy character with a promising career ahead of him.

Akinator
Well, at least he knew the character I was thinking of, but he didn't guess it.

He thought Dracula.
I was thinking MtG's Urza.

You say tomato, I say tomato
Either works for me, I just use 'root' casually, which means more often.

The Power To End Worlds: After Earth
"Wow. It's like these guys think they can't lose," Taylor said, twisting his neck one way, then another, followed by drawing his rifle from beneath his coat. "Why don't we prove 'em wrong?" He suggested.
Sylas shook his head. "It's as if your mere existence is asking for trouble, walker," he said. "Perhaps you should have taken me to that other world you suggested instead."
Replying to that remark, Taylor said with a shrug, "Yeah, Ravnica's decent, but Mobius is just more interesting."

The Power To End Worlds: After Earth
"Cable, Cable, Cable..." Taylor said, shaking his head. "I'm not too interested in seeing you beat him to a pulp, honestly. Though if you're gonna insist." He looked over to Sylas. "Give 'im your best shot, I guess." Sylas bared his teeth, his race's feral nature showing itself, then leaped over the tables, landing directly behind Cable. And from that, the viashino let loose a taloned kick to the back of Cable's head.

Black Fate
"Oh crap," Taylor said simply, and jogged off after Cable and the others. "Well, on the one hand, the plan's in shambles. At least the first part more-or-less served its purpose," he said as he fell in step with Cable. He'd reholstered his weapon for the time being.

Do not claim to be the biggest fan of anything; you'll be proven wrong.

Oh, and welcome.

Six Flames
Richard dropped to the ground; his legs finally decided to stop holding him up. The knife also fell a few inches from him. "I actually thought I had a decent run there..." he said absently. His mind was racing furiously otherwise. Just what had happened? He refused to believe the obvious possibility.

Taylor glanced over his shoulder. "Cable. Saber. Been a while, all right. Sylas isn't quite... local," he said. "Kinda came from a tough-guy culture, as in there's always something out to off ya. You should've seen what I had to deal with his first week around here," he added slyly.
Sylas moved to stand again, only to be whacked in the shin again.
"Just don't look a 'shino in the eye unless he trusts you. Else you're liable to get your head torn off. Sy, cool it," Taylor said out the corner of his mouth, a tinge of exasperation in his voice. "Indirectly, you owe your life to these people."
(OOC: Who are we waiting for?)

Black Fate
"Damn it, Saber!" Taylor snarled, getting back to his feet (he'd been, almost inevitably, knocked down when Saber rushed past him), taking aim and letting off two quick shots from his rifle, one meant for the chao, the other meant for the strange hedgehog. The... special circumstances surrounding his weapon would ensure that there'd be no friendly fire from his end.

(OOC: For those who don't know, Taylor's piece is not only possessed, but also loaded with at least two flavors of extra-dimensional arcana. Likely more.)

Hi!
Greetings. Call me Jockey, I'm one of the resident avid role-players on the forum... when I can be bothered to throw in a few posts. If you're confident enough, you very well may find yourself in a high-caliber role-play alongside... me. [/shameless_bragging]

Okay, I'm not that good, but I'm good enough.

Black Fate
"I'm not sure," Taylor replied, still in a whisper. "Cable and Abyss seem to be holding up just fine; but I dunno if the guy they're fighting is with the Arms or not. 'Course, that would mean we're dealing with something a lot worse." His finger curled instinctively around his rifle's trigger. This could turn problematic rather quickly.

Black Fate
Taylor shook his head. "Abyss messed up the plan," he whispered. "And Cable's making it worse. We're going to end up with a bunch of corpses if things keep going the way they are. Just stay quiet and let me watch. It looks like I might have to shoot." He hesitated, then gently pushed Saber back against the wall near the door; she was going to mess up his aim, which was a bad idea.

(OOC: I'm all for romance and stuff, but now's a bad time. XD)

Black Fate
Taylor whacked himself on the forehead. Abyss, you MORON! he thought. This wasn't part of the plan! He leaned over so he could get a clean shot with his rifle through the doorway if it came to him having to... intervene. Wake up, Cain. Something's going down.

The Power To End Worlds: After Earth
Sylas' fierce gaze met Cable's glance. Taylor sighed. "Oh gods." Before the saurian could leave his seat, the human gave his shin a fierce kick to discourage such a move. Cable had unknowingly challenged Sylas in the reptile's mind, and Taylor hadn't drilled it into the viashino yet that things were a hell of a lot different now.
