Taylor's eyes widened in worry as Lolita attempted to set his arm and applied too much force, worsening the break. He winced and grunted a pained "Oh shit," after she dropped his arm after her mistake. After Kono arrived, he worked on his arm himself using the equipment in the kit Kono brought. He looked even paler than before. As he wrapped his arm up to immobilize it so that it would heal at all, he commented, "I don't normally let people get that close... I've seen bad things happen to people I let that close... Still, your hands are amazingly soft, Miss Lolita."

"Th-thank you," Taylor said, swaying a little and sitting against the wall as a wave of dizziness passed over him. As he carefully took his left arm out of his coat, he added, "I'll try not to be too much trouble for too long." As he examined his arm, he made a face as his gaze passed over a large purple blotch extending from just under the shoulder halfway to the elbow; there had been severe internal bleeding from the final impact with the tree in the park that he had taken on his left side. Under his breath, he muttered, "That's what I get for detonating a rock golem and bodysurfing the explosion through a fae portal. Think I broke it... Too much backspin... Goddamn tree..." He grimaced in pain that finally exceeded his tolerance.

The noise from the near-miss allowed the van to get away before Taylor could commit the license number to memory. "Yeah, yeah, right behind you... dammit," he grumbled. That van had looked awfully familiar to Taylor, and would become bad news for the area within a few weeks if his suspicions were right. He shook his head and limped after Lolita. Several sources of footsteps and chatter broke off from the main group and went down other corridors not leading to this junction, where four "people", dressed in security uniforms and holding odd, presumably energy-projection, weapons, came into the junction and pointed their weapons at Saber and Cable as a fifth arrived. The final arrival, dressed in a dark blue business suit with a matching tie over a white shirt, held up his hand to signal these people to not fire. "Hmm. With all the dead in this place, I wasn't expecting to see anyone alive," the stranger said, resting his left hand on what was unmistakably a sword's hilt. He had more than a little resemblance to Taylor, only his hair was neatly trimmed and black, his skin several shades lighter, and his ears were pointed. But what really caught attention were his luminously violet eyes. Taking his hand from the sword hilt, he pulled a cigarette from a pack in his trouser pocket, and a lighter from his suit coat. Lighting the cigarette and taking a drag, he asked, "So who are you, and what is your business in this place?" Taylor nodded, following Misa. "Guess I'm fighting blind. Hasn't been the first time..."

Oh, sure, a lot of people thought that summoning meant luminous runes, a lot of light and noise, that kind of thing, but that was beginner stuff. The quieter one kept their summoning, from his experience, the better they were. A van passed nearby, catching Taylor's eye, which he kept in his view for a lot longer than was probably necessary.
