What is the WORST movie you have ever seen?
RoboCop 3 and ironically the same guy that played RoboCop (Robert John Burke) was the main guy in Thinner. Just, ugh. I'm glad Peter Weller dodged that bomb and went onto another film.

Gaming Group sub-forum?
I agree with this idea immensely and I would actually be willing to set this up same-day.

I had to work and I have a class-3 headache.

..Rookie in Personal Armor. Is the Justice League so down on staffing that it has to draw people from X-COM? XD

Welp, I've got Blaire's Cyberpunk 2020 character almost completed. Miles is pretty much done with the exception of the addition of some gear. He's going to be a Level 7 Solo (Corporate Muscle) and she's going to be a Level 7 Cop (Detective). Got me a 12 millimeter Colt AMT Model 2000 Very-Heavy Auto Pistol, a 9 millimeter H&K MPK-9 Medium SMG, and a 12 gauge Arasaka Rapid Assault Shot 12 autoshotty. Come at me, streetscum.

Funnily enough while me and an assistant team lead were on long calls, we were joking about Bomberman.

RoboCop moves fine enough with all of that armor. As does a T-800 Terminator.

Well when you're dealing with Robotnik's minions, which tote laser cannons and depleted uranium armor piercing guns, you need that bulk.

It's a specialized armor suit meant to protect the body within.

The Wonders of Literature
Look for James Ellroy's L.A Quartet of novels such as The Black Dahlia, The Big Nowhere, L.A Confidential and White Jazz.

-looks up at his bookshelf which has books stacked up to the hilt- Got it split between a physics/science shelf, a tech/gaming shelf, science fiction, more sci-fi and miscellaneous. Calling me a heavy reader is an understatement.

Sonic Merchandise Ideas
Sonic folders and notebooks. Trade paperbacks of the Sonic comics, alarm clocks, peripherals. And a mug.

The Japanese manuals for the classics have this to say about the Chaos Emeralds:

They deal energy to all living things. In a scientific manner, they can be used for progression in nuclear and laser-based technologies. They are probably buried somewhere under South Island which accounts for its movement. (S1)

Explains how we're able to get laser weapons by early 1999. xD Also explains how laser rifles, laser pistols and heavy lasers had infinite ammo. Chaos Emeralds = endless pew pew

The Chaos Emeralds
That's a topic that you'll probably get several different responses for. Obviously, the Emeralds have a lot of energy to them, that's probably why Robotnik sought them so much. I kinda play to this trope while drafting my Immortality Protocol Cy-Fox series. In there, I portray them as being at first seated in a shrine on Floating Island before a Kingdom of Acorn expedition discovered and removed them. Which was a pretty Bad Idea but at the same time also kinda good. Bad because the Master Emerald reacted by displacing them in space (and possibly time), tugging the airship that had them through with it.

Good because their discovery and later research made it possible for humans to travel to my version of Mobius by creating a wormhole that bridged the huge astronomical gap between the Sol system and the star system that Mobius is in. Physicists state that to artificially create such a construct, you need pretty much an inexhaustible source of energy and solar radiation doesn't come close, even if you had cells being constantly exposed to it.

And what comes with absolute power? The lust for it. Possibly even the ability to warp space, time and matter itself. We should be thankful that Sonic is a benevolent and heroic character who understands the responsibilities associated with having such things in his hands. Fares a whole lot better than Gollum with the Ring.
