I was browsing on one of the legal abandonware sites (Abandonware being games that are no longer supported by their manufacturers, who either let them sidle off or release them directly as freeware, and thus is O.K under InvisionFree's hosting terms), and I came across a Magic: The Gathering game for Windows.

The game's over at Home of the Underdogs, a respected abandonware site. I figured this'd be something for our Magic fans to chew on. I think the summary mentioned an even older game based on Magic, so I'll look into that and comment on that later.

Game Boy Advances sure as heck aren't cheap, at least not for me. I picked up a GBA SP for 60 bucks (lunch money amassed over...oh...3 months XD). The guy didn't provide a power adapter.

Resident Evil is simply one of the best put-together games that I've seen. The only gripe I'd have with it is the syntax used during voice acting. Wesker's sentences sound like something out Alice in Wonderland. I have yet to browse the thrift stores for Resident Evil 2 and 3 for PC.

I've decided to set the competition to use Counter-Strike 2D and AssaultCube, and I'm looking into SRB2. The good thing is, these will run on mostly anyone's computer and they're legal and free.

Ah. Thanks. I managed to use an older saved game to conserve my .357s. But I still had low health. I found that doing circles around Tyrant after emptying the Python in his face makes it easier. Brad dropped the launcher at around 17 seconds, I picked it up, ran like Ted Kennedy from a car wreck and unloaded on him.

I may have ADD but I'm not going to smoke weed for it. I already took enough life threatening ADD crap (i.e Cylert. Gee...no one told me until now that it causes liver damage).

Drugs are bad

Before the rumors start spreading, (such as "OMFG. Cy-Fox can't beat a game for once!"), let it be known that I was playing this literally all night to the point where I had to drink milk to stay awake.

Anyways. I'm playing the very first Resident Evil, the PC version based on the PS1 one. I'm playing as Jill Valentine and I've saved Chris Redfield and Barry Burton. Now all I have to do is face the final Tyrant....without any .357 Magnum rounds, or grenades and low health. I hear that at some point in the fight, the helicopter pilot Brad drops a rocket launcher.

Does anyone remember exactly what time that happens?

As most of my voice acting team has disbanded or become unavailable for use, I require a new set of voice actors for the upcoming podcast show Cy-Fox: The Series. The series will air on the upcoming Retro Revenge show produced by Cyberdyne Systems Mobius, Emerald Guardian and its affiliates.

All right. Metallix approved of my idea and put me in charge. SB will be hosting an upcoming gaming competition for its community. This competition will consist of games on the PC and also emulated games for the Genesis. The exact games in question won't be known yet until I do a bit of research work amongst us.

I do know that for the PC section, there will be a couple freely available games for us to play on. I'll be starting another thread soon in the Gaming section for users to post the multi player PC games that they have, determine the common ones, put those on the list, the freebies and finally decide amongst the staff what Genesis games to provide.
