Vestra then pointed the Harbinger at the armor. Then, she pulled the trigger.

It had the sound of a shotgun, but louder and more synth-y. There was a bright flash.

It wasn't so much that the armor was shredded as it disintegrated. All that was left were the boots.

"And THAT is the power of the Harbinger."

Not a single bullet penetrated the armor.

Vestra smiled. She walked over to the wall, and pressed a button. A mannequin in thick, heavy armor descended from the ceiling in the target area.

"This is the most powerful armor the army has. Take a few shots at it with the rifles." Vestra said.

"Very good, very good. Now, to show you something awesome." Vestra said with a smile. She walked over to a locked closet, and unlocked it. She pulled out a very large shotgun. "Say hello to the BFSG-8000. This baby fires energy pellets in a spread pattern, and can take out even the thickest armor in few shots."

She cocked the shotgun, and a lovely noise was made as it charged up. "Ohhhh yessss~"

She opened up a cabinet and pulled out two assault rifles. She handed them to Yin and Yang, then turned on a light, illuminating the targets. "Let's see how you handle these things right now. Be careful of the knockback."

At the bottom of the stairs were two doors, one on the left and one on the right. She entered the door on the right, into the firing range.

Vestra then entered the password. Two panels opened up on either side of the pad. She put her biological hand on the left pad, and her mechanical hand on the right one. Both hands were scanned, then the panels closed. The blast door opened to concrete stairs. Lights in the stairs lit up, illuminating the path.

"Alright, let's go."

The drink Sarah had was downed at this point. She paid for the drink, and smiled.

"Hm, I think I want another." Sarah said.

"No, you had enough. I don't need you getting drunk this early." Tiamat replied.
