Grand Metropolis
Vestra was at home, working on a device: Her new robotic hand. She was just finishing up.

Fresh Start - The Reboot
The previous Fresh Start was a great idea, but it got out of hand. I believe, if done right, this RP can go on longer than any other RP. There is no goal, only the setting and characters. This story takes place in Station Square. To ensure it doesn't get out of hand again, I will put three measures into place:

1) No Powers. This might seem stupid, but hear me out. This is NOT a combat RP, and while some combat may occur, it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

2) All new characters have to run by me for approval. This keeps things nice and clean. Oh, and speaking of which:

3) All Character Bios are to me PM'd to me.

This is a sort of twist. I want RPers to not know about other RPers' characters, only know their appearance. There will be two character bios, one that you post (only when I approve them, of course), and the one that you PM to me for my approval.

The bio that you PM me is as follows:
The full Bio

And this is the Bio you post once I've approved your character:
The Bio that you post

Yes, that's all that the other RPers see of your character. This ensures the most realistic approach to relationships. This is simply all you can tell about a person just from looking at them.

The entire RP will start with a beach get-together. So, be sure to show up.

My characters

I blame you!
Sarah stumbled again, but again, regained her balance. She focused her chaos energy once more, but this time created a sword out of pure energy. This fatigued her a bit, but she recovered quickly.

Sarah, smiling: I'll take it.

I blame you!
Sarah stumbled a bit before regaining her balance. She carefully put Tiamat down.

Tiamat: Sarah, you aren't seriously thinking of fighting this guy, are you?
Sarah, smiling: Don't worry. I will be alright.

I blame you!
Sarah focused her chaos abilities.

Sarah, thinking: {Damn it, I can't do this for much longer!}

She didn't have much energy left, and she didn't want to overheat, but she knew she had to take this bastard out. She focused the chaos energy itself, and then made a beam of energy fire outwards, toward the gun.

I blame you!
Sarah calmly looked at him, unimpressed. Tiamat was scared as hell, but Sarah wasn't.

Tiamat, quietly: ...Sarah, I'm scared...
Sarah: Don't worry, my Tiamat, everything will be alright. I promise.

Escaping the Facility
Sebek: I need to take a closer look...
Tei: ...How?
Sebek, smiling: I'll think of something.

Escaping the Facility
Inside, was the absolute largest missile Tei had ever seen in her life. It was HUGE. Sebek ran over, took one look, and was dumbfounded.

Sebek: ...HOW THE F-CK DID SOMEONE BUILD THAT!?

Escaping the Facility
Tei: ...Wait a moment... Moving ground, the ground's metal...

Tei ran over to the widening rift in the "ground", and looked into it.

Tei: HOLY SH-T!!!

Escaping the Facility
Tei: I guess we should g-

Suddenly, there seemed to be a rift in the earth, one that was right in front of them. Tei then realized something.

Tei: ...Wait a moment. This isn't normal ground, it's metal!

Escaping the Facility
Sure enough, when the elevator stopped, and they stepped out, they were in the middle of a desert.

Tei: ...What...The...F-ck...

Escaping the Facility
The elevator went up, and kept going, and going.

Sebek: ...We've been on this thing for two minutes now... How tall is this damn building!?

Escaping the Facility
Sebek: Like it was never injured. C'mon, let's go to the next area.
Tei: Alright.

They opened the door, and the coast was clear. There was another elevator at the end of the next room, and no opposition.

Tei: Let's go.

Tei and Sebek got on the lift, and waited for Sharon.

Escaping the Facility
Sebek put the first pipe upright, and slowly moved it forward until he could see that something was cutting it. He did the same with all the rest of the pipes, until the path was clear.

Tei: Good work, Sebek!
Sebek: Thanks!

Escaping the Facility
Sebek: ...Watch.

Sebek waited, then walked back to the pipe room, and came back with pipes.

Sebek: This way, we can see where the laser is hitting.

Escaping the Facility
Tei: ...I don't think so...
Sebek: I have an idea.

Escaping the Facility
Tei went ahead, when suddenly, she felt a searing pain in her left arm.

Tei: EVERYONE, GET BACK!!!

Sebek nearly jumped. Tei grabbed her wrist in pain, as she got back as well, but also carefully. She looked up from the wound, pissed.

Tei: ...Lasers...

Escaping the Facility
Tei nodded, and Tei and Sebek got ready at the doorway to the next area, which was to the left. Tei opened the door, but there were no guards. There was a hallway, which curved, went straight, then curved in the other direction.

What they didn't know, was that experamental cutting lasers were set up, to kill any intruders. Simply touching it would sever whatever limb that was dumb enough to touch it.
