Flutterbat blinked. She turned towards the kitchen, revealing that the three butterfly cutie-mark of hers had become three bats. She practically raced to the kitchen, and began devouring the meat that Derpy had set out previously.

A minute passed, then two. Then five.

Finally, the two ponies left the bathroom.

One of them was different from when she went in.

Fluttershy's fur and mane were a few shades darker, her eyes a piercing ruby instead of their usual shining sapphire, her mouth now with two fangs, her ears longer and pointed, and her normally bird-like wings now had a more bat-like appearance.

Derpy gave the guy a look. Fluttershy continued to groan in pain, and Derpy placed a comforting wing over her back before guiding her into another room (in this case the bathroom) for privacy.

I always find that it looks slightly awkward when something is transferred from a 2D drawing to a 3D polygonal model. Though that's more a personal thing, and there really isn't a way to do it that doesn't look a bit odd in some way.

All that said, those models do look nice.

Fluttershy nodded. <<They were worried, they lost contact with you completely. They gave me this.>> She held up her crystal necklace. <<It's specifically enchanted, so we can talk with home while they try to find a way to get us back.>>

Derpy smiled. <<I'm glad they sent you, I already started to miss you terribly.>>

Fluttershy gave a soft smile in return, then her eyes flicked to the left of Derpy at the humans.

The shy Pegasus immediately started curling up, as if trying to hide behind her long pink mane.
