Recently started Monster Hunter again.
Me and Ivory are teaching 2 new hunters how to play.
No online stuff, they both have 3DS's and we get together once a week for a proper Monster Hunter party.
It's awesome!

The Wii U got its big update today.
Running a lot smoother now, loads in almost half the time.

Plus we got the Rayman Legends Challenge Mode.
Not as good as getting the full game but its a nice attempt at them saying sorry.

They already said that Smash Bros will be at E3, but only as screenshots and artwork, don't go expecting a trailer for it.

Yeap, just a quick little post.
Miiverse is now available online in a beta version using your browser on your computer or mobile phone.
While you still need a Wii U to create an account you can still have a look round and have a look at all the posts and amazing artwork like this one.

This doesn't surprise me in the least.
The Nintendo Directs have been used for big announcements for a long time now and have proven themselves to be very successful in what they do that it does make a large E3 conference seem obsolete.
That and of course it would probably get over shadowed by Sony and Microsoft showing of there two consoles that it would be wiser not to compete with them anyway.

Microsoft has confirmed that yes, they will reveal the next generation console on May 21st.

They sent out preliminary invites to press today saying, "A New Generation Revealed" will occur at 10:00 a.m. Pacific time at the Xbox Campus in Redmond, Washington. They are using the hashtag #XboxReveal.

Major Nelson posted about the event saying Microsoft will, "continue the conversation and showcase our full lineup of blockbuster games." The event will be livestreamed exclusively on Spike TV in the US and Canada and online at GameTrailers.com and on Xbox Live, and will be fully accessible on tablets and smartphones.

The event will be hosted by GTTV's Geoff Keighley and will have various members of Microsoft's team and 3rd party developers on hand to show the upcoming lineup of games for Xbox.
