^ Hey I'm still on X-P. I doubt I'll ever upgrade because I don't want to buy a new computer. I'll keep mine until it dies and then I might not even get a new one. lol |

| Oh maybe it was all a made up language. I know there is a game language in it when the subtitles are not in English. I always thought the boy spoke in Japanese but maybe not. |

The GT community has been eagerly awaiting news of the next significant update following last month’s announcement hinting at new content and features for us this fall. According to a very rare English-language tweet from Kazunori Yamauchi this morning, that new content and features will be a “Spec 2.0″ update to the game in October and downloadable content shortly after:
GT fans, thanks for waiting… The GT5 Spec 2.0 update is coming the 3rd week of October, with DLC following a week later.
There is no news yet for fans regarding exactly what the Spec 2.0 update will bring nor the nature of – or the price of – the DLC to follow, but GTPlanet will report this information when it is revealed…
Prologue Spec II gave us 37 new cars and 1 new track but I'm guessing the 2.0 update is going to be lots of new features and the DLC will be stuff like new cars/tracks. This is freaking exciting, I've been hoping for this for awhile. Will keep updated when more info comes out. |

I remember renting a game simply called ICO back when I was 12. I think the game had just came out and I remember because Blockbuster had these giant posters for the game and took them down about three days later. I guess it wasn't that good.
Not really remembering where a puzzle was in but I haven't thought about the game for over 10 years now. It was just not very popular at the time is all and that had nothing to do with how good it was. I always hear people praising Ico so I figured I'd give them a shot. So far it is a pretty good game! Can't wait to get farther into it. All the dialogue is in Japanese though with English subtitles. |

| Never played either of these games before but I started out on ICO just now and I see where all of the hype is coming from. It's an excellent puzzle adventure game. Anyone else get the HD collection or at least play the originals on PS2? |

| I got it and I can't really say much so far as I've done only a few rounds of hoard and still in the beginning of the campaign. So far it seems pretty good. Although, maybe it's because I've been spoiled by Uncharted, the graphics and animations are decent but not great. They're on par with Resistance 3's graphics though and not bad by any means just not up there with the standards of recent games that have come out. I'll have to finish it to give my final verdict on if I like it as much as the other games I've played this year though. |

I still don't know how I feel about this one. It actually looks great(this video) but it could be good or bad. Although Insomniac really don't disappoint I'm just hoping that it lives up to the previous single player games. Anyone in the beta or plan on getting this? |

| Well when you are talking about a graphical update of a game I just assumed we were talking solely about graphics. As far as graphics go it's not simply updating the resolution that it's displayed and I was also talking about the Origins collection which had more than the other collection. |

They can do more than upscale it. The God of War collection made the framerate 60fps and added anti-aliasing. The God of War Origins collection, being PSP games, needed to have much more extensive retooling like more polygons and even higher res textures. Regardless, it'll look good, but it won't be up to the standards of most PS3 games. It'll look like PS2.5.
Although they could remake FFX on the Crystal Engine, but that would take much more work than they'd be willing to put into it.
Did you just restated what I said a few posts back regarding Crystal Tools? God of War Collection... yeah true, but those are just minor stuff. At least they added a Trophy system though, and that's definitely something worth doing for FFX. Uh not really... Anyway the Origins collection was not minor, they had to go and retool the game. The first one they just upscaled it and added 2x AA while locking the framerate at 60fps. I'm just saying they CAN do more than just changing the resolution but it's doubtful. |

As for FFX, I'm sorry but there is no way the graphics are gonna be THAT insane. FFX doesn't use Crystal Engine unlike XIII, so it's impossible. If anything, it will only have a clearer view in your HDTV than the standard PS2 version.
But but-can't they make it work? I'm not an expert on game engines and stuff like that, so I could be wrong, but I kinda hope it's just more then a clearer view. At least have the standard PS3 graphics, seeing it's an HD port which improved graphics will likely be all this will have.
The most they can do is upscale it, really, maybe change it from 4:3 to 16:9, but it definitely won't be as graphically advanced as most PS3 games. They can do more than upscale it. The God of War collection made the framerate 60fps and added anti-aliasing. Versus XIII is the game to look forward to and I'm upset they made a XIII-2 before that even came out! A sequel to the worst FF in recent times. If they DO make a XIII-3 then they might as well just call Versus XIII Final Fantasy 15.
I kinda agree. Or at least drop the XIII subtitle. It doesn't seem to have any relation to the game. However, just to clear things up, the two teams that work on XIII-2 and Versus have no relation to each other, with Versus being made by the team that did the Kingdom Hearts games. So regardless if there's a XIII-2 or not, nothing would have sped up or slowed down Versus's eventual release date. As for the possibility of XIII-3 though, I admit I rather see more of Versus or a FFXV already, but registering for the domain doesn't mean anything. It's still a long ways away from an actual announcement, and could be something planned, but will not actually go through with it. Anywho, no XIII negativity/hate train here please. Haven't played the game though so I don't know how great it is. Let's talk about the greatness of FFX please. I never owned FFX but I did rent it and got pretty far into it. I remember being blown away by its graphics and how it had voice acting through most of it. |

Well that is a limitation but an easy one to remedy. Just put the game in that you want before you go plus you can play pretty much any PSN/PS1 game you've downloaded.
Isn't the battery life the same as the original PSP? I know the PSP had a short life but it didn't bother me. |

| Well that I am not sure of, I can't read Japanese and I haven't read up on it entirely. Although the video of them playing KZ3 on the Vita looks pretty good and if KZ3 supports it then I would assume all games do since it was made before Vita comes out and wouldn't have been developed with that feature in mind. |

They had remote play for the PSP and it only worked for like one game, the main functions of it was to view media stored on your PS3's hard drive(memory sticks are limited compared to a HDD). The one game(LAIR) tried but due to the PSP's limited hardware it was very laggy and didn't work well because it lacked Sixaxis, second stick, and buttons of the PS3.
This has ALL been corrected with the PS Vita. http://www.4gamer.net/games/017/G001762/20110915033/
Playing PS3 games on the go is fluid and well done. The missing buttons L2 and R2 can be used with the back touch pads so it is not limited. Pretty awesome if you want to play a game and someone is using the TV, also great if you want to play PS3 on the go! |
