First Resistance 3 Screenshots!
Hmmm, I guess the photos got deleted because they were uploaded too early. I'll be looking towards a press event soon, if not just to talk about the pics.

As for the Resistance 1, I liked it and they were designed interestingly. I liked the gameplay of Resistance with the neat guns and art design, but I see what you are saying. On Resistance 2(which is a Greatest Hit now) there was a main enemy called dadaelus. Well he was the main antagonist among the Chimera(although he didn't really have much character as he was mostly far away causing problems for you) and there are also new different types of enemies in the second. The Chameleons, grims, etc.

Resistance 3 I can see it being that the war was completely lost and there are only a few survivors hiding for their lives, at least that's what it looked like on the teaser trailer from GamesCom.

Mag 2.0
So essentially this is so updated they're calling it MAG 2. I can't wait to play it and trying it out with Move would be awesome(although I probably won't be able to get that for awhile).

PlayStation Move support, an increased level cap, our revamped skill tree, the new economy system, and our highly-demanded clan deploy feature are just the tip of the iceberg. There are so many fantastic new or improved items in MAG 2.0 it’s almost like a whole new game!

A big thanks to all of you who have helped us get to this point with your support, your suggestions, and your mad beta testing skills. We hope you have as much fun playing MAG 2.0 as we did making it.

You think $300 is bad? Just wait until it gets down here. >_>;

Still, if I can help it I'll be grabbing one as soon as I can. The whole "multimedia" thing isn't what appeals to me, but with the library it's got coming up it's hard to say no. Getting it on launch may be a bit tricky, but I'll see what I can manage.

At least I can still grab Pokemon B&W if I don't get one of these. |P
It does have an excellent line up so far, I'm impressed! Much better than the DS's which the only good game was a port of an N64 game.

Halloween Costumes?
Age has nothing to do with it, they make costumes for adults you know. ;) Adults have costume parties as well. lol

Nintendo 3DS release dates and price.
@Kitm

Nintendo's main advantage over the competition is that it was always cheaper. That's why the DS took off so well because it wasn't expensive and parents weren't so minding of paying for something fairly inexpensive. $300 is a big price for a handheld in a bad economy. I'm sure it'll do well, but I don't think it'll do outstanding. I could be wrong though, but personally I would not pay that much for a handheld. $250 is my max and that's pushing it.

Halloween Costumes?
Who's dressing up? I'm going to have a costume party at my place! I'm going to be an 80's metal rocker. :D I'm going for the Axl Rose look but not exact. What are you going to be?

Nintendo 3DS release dates and price.
$300 is too much for a handheld, I say. That's console price right there... I think it may be cheaper in the U.S./West somehow because I don't see a $300 handheld doing so well here even with the massive hype because price can kill hype.

Sonic Adventure Remastered and released on XBLA
I'd say it's definitely worth the money! Although, not the DX expansion. All you get are Adventure Field Missions and Metal Sonic(GG games have been cut out) for half the price of the full version.... Eh, I'd get it if it were only 1.99.

First Resistance 3 Screenshots!
Have you ever played Resistance, Gary? They're pretty good, but I can't wait for 3... They have the potential to get everything right and make an outstanding game!

First Resistance 3 Screenshots!
From the screenshots we can confirm that St. Louis is a local visited in R3. It also appears that Capelli from the second game is now the main character? Can not be confirmed but it is a good guess...

Uncharted 2 Game of The Year Edition

Well it was inevitable considering it won over 50 GOTY awards including from the most prestigious award ceremonies. It's only $50 with all of the DLC included on the disc. I might trade in my old copy and upgrade to this one.

How Bout Dem Fightuns?
Tekken is my favorite series(probably already posted that in here but so long ago...).

Tekken 6 was a let down though, hopefully Tekken Tag 2 is as good as the first!

Xbox 360, PS3, or Wii?
Disagea 4 is coming out, fyi. ;)

Sonic Adventure Remastered and released on XBLA
I have had no problems with it... What do you mean by glitchy? While I was downloading it, it went smooth and streamlined.

What's your favourite game series? (Not Sonic)

Metroid, for sure. It's a great combination of platforming and shooting and always has been. There hasn't been a horrible game in the franchise, either.
Well that's all opinion. ;) Other M has been getting some below average reviews, but I've heard people say they like it soooooo.... Well you get what I'm saying. haha

What's your favourite game series? (Not Sonic)
I'd say the Gran Turismo series or, for platformers, Ratchet and Clank.

Martin Edmondson is back!
I wasn't really that excited for this game but now that the main guy is back on the helm, I'm excited! I hope this brings Driver back and it seems it will be as influential as the first ones. Driver 2 was the best, imo.

Quote:

Martin Edmondson is a name you should probably know. Despite his absence from the forefront of game development in recent years, Edmondson's creative influence still permeates the industry decades after he first started crafting games. Developers such as Rockstar, Black Box, and Criterion note Edmondson's taste for and execution of 1970s-style car chases as an influence for their seminal works. After a lengthy hiatus, he's back in the driving seat at Reflections, the studio he formed in 1984 (now part of Ubisoft), and his first work is a return to the franchise that really put him on the map: Driver. The new title, set in San Francisco, blends familiar themes from the 11-year-old franchise with some fresh ideas that may prove to influence the genre as much now as his early works did at the dawn of the PlayStation generation.

Back in the early days of the original PlayStation, Edmondson's team experimented with a different approach to driving games. Up until this point, the majority of 3D racers drew their inspiration from the classics of the time, notably Test Drive, Ridge Racer, and Need for Speed. In Destruction Derby, Reflections' 1995 release for Sony's fledgling console, he introduced the idea of realistically destructible vehicles and physics-based handling: ideas that had been rarely mastered for, and never properly integrated into, arcade-style driving games. The game was so successful that it spawned three sequels before Edmondson and his team decided to spin the lessons they'd learned into something more ambitious.

In 1999 the studio released the original Driver, an open-world car-chase game influenced by '70s cop shows like Starsky and Hutch and movies like Bullitt. Like Destruction Derby before it, the game proved to be incredibly successful and began a franchise that went on to sell more than 14 million copies.

Controversy rocked Reflections and then-publisher Atari in 2004 when the third game in the series, clumsily dubbed Driv3r, was rushed to market due to financial concerns and consequently flopped, both critically and commercially. Edmondson left the company as a result and later sued the publisher due to "constructive unfair dismissal as a result of Reflections alleged repudiatory breach of a contract of employment that necessitated [his] resignation."

After the messy breakup, Edmondson's brother, Gareth, took over the reins at the studio, which went on to produce the woefully underfunded and poorly received retro-themed 2006 release Driver: Parallel Lines. By the end of that same year, Atari was experiencing deep financial troubles and sold Reflections, along with all associated intellectual property, to Ubisoft for $24 million. The studio, renamed Ubisoft Reflections, quickly released a PSP variant of Parallel Lines dubbed Driver 76 before disappearing from public view.

Meanwhile, Edmondson was taking a break from game development. "After the company was sold, I just wanted to go and do a bunch of completely different things," he says during an interview at an Ubisoft press event a month before the game's official unveiling at E3. "I went to spend some time working with a company working on LCD screen technology, and I did some mobile-phone licensing stuff. But my real passion has always been games. On a day-to-day basis, this is what I really want to be doing."

Sonic Adventure Remastered and released on XBLA
I just bought it on the PSN. :) Can't wait to play it since I don't have a DC anymore and it sucks on PC...

I got Demons Souls
@ Above... So on the first boss, it is impossible to beat right? I know I died on one swipe and there really was no way to avoid it because of the confined space. I'm thinking it was made to be impossible to introduce you to the nexus?

Tekken Tag Tournament 2
Tekken 6 was a let down, T5 Dark Resurrection for PS3 was much better. I loved TT so I hope this is just as good!
