Warhawk and Resistance will be their killer apps for launch. PS3's launch is the best so far, imo. PSone launch sucked, so did DCs, PS2s, Xboxs, GCs, and 360s... 360s launch was mostly ports from current gen games too... PS2 didn't have any good games, DC bleh, etc, etc...

Um, yes it is a rumor from a magazine! They never said it was Sony who told them it. If it were confirmed for a redesign it would be on every website by now, but it's not. It may be redesigned in 3 years from now though.

Yeah a lip on the edges would be a good idea and fix the homing attack. I'm sure Sonic Next Gen has these fixed.
