Persona 4: The Golden and Persona 4: Arena
PS3s are dirt cheap now used and decently priced new, it's not that big of a deal. I have seen PS3s going for $150 on Craigslist with the recent price drop.

As for Persona 4 on Vita, that's pretty sweet! But I'm more interested in P5 for PS3.

Suggestion: 3DS friend code
Uh I did agree to it awhile ago(Steam) and after asking for some help on how it should be done the thread just went dead. Plus the codes for Wii/Live/PSN are not made by me so we could add them but they would just be text and not the actual card/display.

Sonic CD coming to XBLA
The reason it is not coming to Wii is simply Wiiware's filesize limit is too small for this game to be accepted, unfortunately.

It will also have TRUE widescreen support. It will NOT be a simple emulated version either. An interesting tidbit is that it supports Sonic 2 style spindash and Sonic CD style.

Fashion: Your thoughts~
I usually just wear skate shoes, jeans(mainly black but also blue), and a regular t-shirt with some graphic on it. Simple. In winter I often wear a leather biker jacket. haha

Not big on fashion, but I do enjoy some decent clothes (for shirts, no cleavage showings because that's just somewhat disturbing with me).
The whole cleavage style is dependent on several factors (That should be relatively obvious...) and is recommended when your wanting to impress a guy (or girl if your into that) or on a few other occasions. It's usually used to try and attract someone but it can and will be used for other things (If you've seen some of the fashion blunders that appear from time to time then you know what I'm talking about more or less). Pretty much it's just a style that some girls choose to wear and others don't care about.
Cleavage turns me off. -_- I would never even consider someone that doesn't cover them up. I know a lot of girls like that aren't serious and it just isn't respectable, imo.

'Vampire' arrest sparks discussion on pop cul
I don't see how you can just throw media out of being non influential. He was messed up already and/or obsessed, that doesn't mean something he read couldn't have tripped him over the edge. I agree that movies/books shouldn't be a scapegoat, but you can't rule it out as not being a factor.

Sonic CD coming to XBLA
I'm definitely getting it. It's for PSN too btw... Here's the trailer.

Dust 514
http://www.joystiq.com/2011/08/20/dust-514-preview-contractual-murder/

Here's that Gamescom preview where I tell you how shocked I was about a game I didn't expect to be all about. You've been warned. Still with me? Great. Dust 514, a first-person shooter MMO cross-platform experience from CCP Games, is without a doubt the biggest surprise for me of Gamescom. At the end of a long week of previewing dozens of games, I didn't expect to be blown away by the little hyped game from the Icelandic devs at CCP, but here we are.

As promised, Dust 514 ties the bizarre, often unbelievable world of EVE Online and its reality reflecting politics into an instanced first-person shooter MMO, seamlessly combining both games into a universe ("New Eden") that's been thriving for years now on PC. But CCP did more than offer lofty promises in a preview session I attended earlier today in a private hotel suite near Gamescom -- a team of devs from various CCP offices demonstrated the madness in real-time.

Make no mistake, Dust 514 is no Huxley. It's a very real MMOFPS with very deep economics and political systems tied to EVE Online, and it's already incredibly impressive, even though it's not set to launch until next summer.

As a CCP rep runs across a massive battlefield in Dust 514, he can see the enemy ship in the distance. In just one of the game's various multiplayer battles, teams of corporate contractors are progressing their command ship from one side of the map to the other, pushing towards various objectives along the way. And while the battle is interesting -- there's a variety of vehicles, people, and bullets as far as the eye can see -- it's the reason that the battle is happening that piques my interest.

A corporation somewhere has put out a contract on that planet for reasons unknown, and you're just a mercenary with an empty wallet looking to earn a quick buck. Only that corporation is run by actual human beings, and there could be any number of reasons that the contract has been placed. Moreover, that contract derives from an actual person who's using in-game cash to pay out other actual human beings who are completing the contract.

Ready for things to get more bananas? Let's say you're on a planet, shooting dudes with your space gun, and you need some assistance. Say, a series of high-powered laser beams from an orbital ship, just for example's sake. You could always ask your buddy who's sitting at his PC playing EVE Online to do just that by sending him the coordinates. And just like that, lasers rain from the sky, destroying that pesky tank that simply refused to stop firing missiles in your direction. That also happens in real-time via cross-platform chat.

Again, if I weren't watching the developers actually do this in front of me, I'd be reticent to point out how insanely impressive it was. But as the dev leading the demo progressed through the map, eventually taking the enemy ship and completing the contract, I found myself more and more shocked. The combat itself looked a bit rough, but the game is still a ways out and, for a game in pre-Alpha, it appeared more than competent, mechanically speaking. And though I wasn't shown in the demo, things will apparently get even more insane with a commander (another actual human being) taking control of the enormous command ship.

If it weren't already clear, I think you should be paying attention to Dust 514 over the next year. Beyond the compelling game, its base-level ties to all things EVE Online are a first in the console market. And with such a low price barrier to entry planned, I have high hopes that it'll bring a sea change in the way gamers see microtransaction-based games.

Disirregardless of who's choice it is, it definitely isn't the government's, in my opinion.

And no, I don't hate Rick Perry. I just disagree with his opinions, and think that he definitely should not be President.
I think the Gov't should step out of a lot of things but well they still regulate things they shouldn't.

Rick Perry targets the Constitution
I don't think it's more the woman's choice at all, the man should have equal say.

The last sentence was more of a joke but I do think people who hate on someone(not saying anyone here is outright hating) because of their opinion is pretty much doing the same thing as the person hating on someone else because of their opinion. Unless the said person is outright killing or torturing someone because hate is hate and hating on someone hating doesn't make it right.

So this article says that Governor Perry used to be pro-States on a lot of this stuff...

And now that he's running for president, he's pro-Federal.

Plus, like Star said, love isn't a thing the government should be able to regulate and restrict. If two same sex men or women are in love and wish to marry, than they should be able to. I don't give a f**k what your religion says about it. And again, on the abortion issue, and as Star said, it's a choice thing. I'm not pro-abortion, but it's a choice and the federal government shouldn't be able to restrict it.

If I could vote, I wouldn't vote for him.
Well if we're pro choice, then shouldn't the man have a say in the choice? If the father wants the kid but the woman wants an abortion, I think if one person wants it then they should be forced to give birth. There are two parents after all...

I don't like him because he seems like a fanatic and would never vote for him but I think the people here and everywhere I've seen that are opposing him are just as hateful as he is. :| If you can't accept his views then you're doing EXACTLY what he is by not accepting gays.

But considering what its got to work with I have seen some impressive titles on the thing. I tend not to compare graphics of games based on other consoles, but rather what they can do with what they've got. Square Enix is kind of good at getting the most out of whatever system they're on.

That said, Generations 3DS looks pretty decent to me.
I don't know, judging by those screenshots. The game isn't finished and it might look better in motion, but those look worse than Rivals 2 on the PSP which is a last-gen handheld.

PS3/PSP Price Cuts
Well I bought my PS3 slim with two games and two controllers for $200 on Craigslist about 3 months ago. Steal of a deal on that. I also bought my 55 inch Sony HDTV TV off of there. So I know about deals. I originally bought a 52 Mitsubishi HDTV(1080i) for $100 on CL then sold it for $340 and bought my 55 inch Sony(1080p) for $350, so in total I spent on my TV is $110. :D

On the subject of the PS3, $50 might not seem like a lot but it does to consumers apparently. Both Gamestop and Target have reported huge increases on PS3 sells.

And you can STILL get a working PS3 for less at a pawn shop.. the one I got for $175 2 years ago still works fine, both of the controllers it came with are still fine, and it's one of the original models that includes backwards compatabity not that I've used that feature but it's cool to know it's there.

I've always been a bargain hunter and that was a bargain and then some, by definition.
Sure but you can get anything for cheaper at a pawn shop or Craigslist.

Wow, really? It seems for EVERY Nintendo system, once it becomes older, they just remove BC like it doesn't even matter.
Not just Nintendo systems. It's typical of all systems. PS3 removed support for PS2 games, etc.

Sigh. I really hope this doesn't become like the annoying GBA/DS shit, where so many people whined that they removed it. It's time to move on. Just get your old one and use it to play games.

Anyway, I could hardly care. I don't need a newer Wii model anyway so I doubt I'll get this. I can plug in the GC if I do anyway, just like I do with every other old console. Can't expect a console to support everything.
The PS3 is an odd ball, it was removed because people demanded a cheaper PS3 and showed that they would rather have a cheaper PS3 than a more expensive one with BC. PS2 never lost its PS1 BC(even PS3 still has that) including the ones that are STILL selling on shelves now. I don't see the 360 dropping their Xbox support either.

Personally I really wouldn't care since I never used BC on my PS2 or PS3 more than a handful of times but I just find it odd that they would be doing it this late in the game.

Not really, not everyone wants homebrew. I've used homebrew on the PSP and all of the applications looked like low budget crap. This was a few years ago though. The only good part of homebrew is emulators but I don't think it's worth the trouble.

Very Sorry

PS3 has been cut to $249 in America and 199 in the UK. PSP is getting a new "budget" model without Wifi for $99 but seems to be only for Europe.
