I never played Episode I because I had no interest in it due to it being just rehashed levels from previous games but I did get Episode II and really enjoyed it! It wasn't the best Sonic game I've played but I'd say it was pretty good.
What do YOU think should be a skin here? What would you like to see? Maybe there's a character that you would like to have a skin based around? Maybe a zone? Perhaps a console? Ok I'll try to fix all of these, I just don't know if I can retrieve all of the old stuff so I might have to start anew...Alright they are all fixed as of now. I will go through things and replace as many imageshack imgs there are. I had no idea we were still using so many, I thought they were all replaced.
This game is an epilogue to the Future series that had three games on PS3(TOD, Q4B, ACIT) and it looks like this will conclude the story. I'm really excited because All 4 One and Full Frontal Assault were ok but just really experiments, whereas this is traditional R&C!
No, it didn't hurt when I got it. It wasn't even as bad as a shot at the doctors and that I don't really mind either. It can irritate if you play with it or forget it's there and push it too hard but I keep forgetting it's even there so I don't feel it. It's not entirely healed yet but by August I will be taking it out and putting in a hoop.
I can see them doing sequels but using different characters/story arcs. The ones with Joel and Ellie pretty much is wrapped up with no need to continue it.
Personally, I find Sonic Adventure 2, the Rush Seires, and the Rivals series overrated. They just don't appeal to me much.
Funny you should mention the Rivals games. I only own Sonic Rivals for the PSP, and I enjoyed it quite a bit (enough to get all of those stupid cards for no unlocks ). But overall that game just falls flat in so many areas.
The music is bland and forgettable, the gameplay is extremely easy and tedious, and the game has almost no content what so ever and does not feel worth the price of admission at all!
As for Adventures, I do not know. I plan on picking up a Dreamcast this weekend at the local Flea Market, and if I see Adventures 1 or 2 I am definently picking it up!
I have not played the Rush games either, but since I own a DS I am keeping an eye out!
You really should pick them up. The adventure games are brilliant, despite the fact that I think SA2 is a bit overrated, it is still awesome and I love it, especially the Sonic/Shadow levels. Sonic Rush is also awesome, it is very fast-paced and fun, the levels are cool, and the music and boss fights are pretty badass.
I agree with Rivals being overrated as well, I never owned it (or a psp for that matter) but I have played it, didn't impress too much.
Rivals 2 was much better but I don't get this thread... Many people are saying games that are hated on are overrated. Overrated means games that got lots of praise but didn't deserve it. Sonic '06 and Sonic Rivals aren't overrated because most people didn't like them anyway. I did, but I'm a huge Sonic fan.
Sonic Adventure 2, definitely is overrated if you don't think much of it though. Most people love it and it had huge ratings by the critics too.
For me? I find Sonic 2 to be the most overrated. It was my first Sonic game and first game ever when I was 5 and I have a special place in my heart for it because of that but Sonic 3 & Knuckles was just a better game to me so when people say Sonic 2 is better I just don't agree.
