Microsoft is going to have to reveal some real good stuff to combat all the backlash they have been getting since the Xbox One reveal. (Personally am hoping it's a terrible conference so I can convince my brother we must convert to Sony )

Anyway, I have a few games I know I'll be looking out for, including the new Sonic one, but I find I always get the most excited for the games I don't know about. So I'm looking forward to an epic reveal or two. I'm also looking forward to finally seeing how the PS4 looks like. (Well, hopefully see it )

Yes, it’s true unless the game requires specific hardware like the camera. It will be great to play PS4 games on PS Vita.

So, as long as the usage of hardware that doesn’t exist on the Vita is a requirement, you’ll be able to play all your PlayStation 4 games through the PlayStation Vita’s Remote Play.

Looks like Microsoft is digging their own grave! Good job. I applaud them.

I love to see Xbox fanboys go all batshit over this. PS3 HAS NO GAMES? Well guess what, XBOX ONE HAS NO GAMES. (Unless you count Kinect, I guess. Hahaha.)

Apparently Microsoft has also blocked comments on their videos, according to another forum I frequent. They don't want to hear fan feedback apparently... also posted on the other forum, apparently they're blaming the media for consumer rage according to this article.

Wow Microsoft, it wasn't the media that lead to our opinions on your fancy Betamax player it was YOU. How you guys presented the console, and all the other crap that the consumer would have to go through just to play the newest games is what bringing the gaming community against you. I wonder what new "feature" is going to be revealed next... Also it's time for Microsoft to get out of the gaming industry and go back to working on Windows only after this generation of gaming is done.

Yeah, it's safe to say that it is point, the competition is going to be between Nintendo and Sony and Microsoft is not going to do all that well this gen. =|

So out of curiosity, what can be said about the Xbox One that's positive? I'm more of a Sony supporter, and I can already say with confidence that I won't be buying this, but I'm interested in seeing what might actually be considered good about the Xbox One. I mean, I can't be all bad. _{Can it?}

I'm interested to see a price tag though.

Judging by the fact that the Kinect is a standard feature now I am reasonable confident that it will cost more then the PS4.

Blu-ray movies and other downloaded entertainment should be accessible when your Internet connection may be interrupted. But the device is fundamentally designed to be expanded and extended by the Internet as many devices are today."

And here's the bombshell:

Kotaku: If I’m playing a single player game, do I have to be online at least once per hour or something like that? Or can I go weeks and weeks?

Harrison: I believe it’s 24 hours.

Kotaku: I’d have to connect online once every day.

Harrison: Correct.

So the system is built to work even if your Internet connection goes down, but you still have to be connected at least once a day to use it, Harrison said. We're not sure exactly what would happen if you don't connect once per day—and that timeframe could change—but this doesn't sound good for anyone who was hoping to use Xbox One without an Internet connection.

Sadly, no. Hard drives in the Xbox One are non-user-serviceable, but Penello confirmed that the USB 3.0 port is there for external storage, which can be used for everything the internal storage can be used for. That includes game installs and downloads. So, don't fret: adding storage will be just as easy as ever.

Also, what's with the name? It's stupid! It's not the first Xbox but this makes it sound as if it is which could be confusing to dumb consumers. Just Xbox would have been fine.

I believe its because (like you said) they want it to be an all-in-One box that does everything, so in that respect the name kinda makes sense.
