Gamespot trouble!
I'm sure most of you have heard about Jeff getting fired from GameSpot, but this story seems to get interesting by the day. To sum it all up, Kane and Lynch paid GameSpot loads of money to advertise their game on their website. Jeff reviewed the game, and gave it a 6.0. This was weeks ago. A few days ago, Jeff was fired. The review was taken down. The internet is "literally" going nuts over this news. (check digg.com) Appearently, GameSpots reviews are being persuaded by video game advertisers, to give a good score. This could spell bad news for GameSpot. Click here for the full stories..

This is bad. Bad SONY, making the PS3 any easy hacking device *homing attacks SONY*. XD XDD XD XDD

Well one could say Microsoft and Apple do that with PCs/Macs.... Although they don't have the processing power that the PS3 CPU has.

Only bad people use it for hacking, good people use it for making complex games. :)

Racism....
I also love it how these Mexicans that were born in California protest against America enforcing our LAWS and doing something about the illegal immigration. I mean if tons of Americans decided to just move illegally into Mexico you can be sure the Mexican government would deport our asses just like they do to the Central Americans.

They protest us deporting people who break the law, but they don't protest their own country deporting, or even worse killing, their illegal immigrants...

Racism....
Um, I wasn't talking about Caucasians though, but it is true. I just find it funny how people can say "Mexicans are hard working and the best at work" and not take offense. I mean come on! I've heard it many times and that's just one example.

I personally am disgusted by people like that just as much as people who bash a certain race.

Racism....
Ok lets discuss racism.... Why does EVERYONE hate on someone saying something negative about a certain race and claim they HATE racist people, but consider it OK for people to be racist by saying positive things about a race?

For example saying "Mexicans will work for less money then u will and is a hard worker and wont complain cause he came from nothing" is ok because the person is saying they are hard workers...? Many people wouldn't over react over this, but that statement is basically saying "your race is inferior and doesn't work as hard as this race". Most people would call it the opposite of racism, but I consider just as vile and offensive as if someone said something bad about the race... Discuss...

Playstation = Crackstation
I would have. I already knew the CPU was like 100 times faster than a Pentium 4. ^_^

Playstation = Crackstation
Let's add another function onto the list of things the PS3 can do -- this one, however, isn't something we'd really like advertised. It's almost scary. Security-assessment.com senior security consultant Nick Breese has been using a PS3 to hack passwords and such. Apparently using a PS3 drastically increases the processing capability to do so, using the most basic of hacking tools -- brute force.

By brute force we mean it just tries every combination of numbers and letters incredibly fast. The old upper limit of vector computing (Pentium) using common ciphers and hash functions was around 10-15 million cycles per second, but with the PS3, this has moved to around 1.4 billion cycles per second. That's really about all we're going to dive into. If you want to read about the complex workings of the "Crackstation" project, feel free, but don't go trying this stuff at home!

Um, Connecticut, because we are the best. Duh.

:]

Funny how all the smaller states have a higher IQ. I guess it's easy to have a high IQ when there aren't many people in your state. XD
